I have been trying to find an easy English translation of the Quran but have been unsuccessful. The one by Yusuf Ali is bit difficult (it uses old english at many places)

I just love the translation they use for this. Not only is it easy to follow and to understand, but from what I noticed they mostly represent you with the exact text, rather than adding extra opinions.

I'm sorry to say I don't have the answer for you. But I'm starting to believe this is done exclusively for these taraweeh screening.
