Mike, it seems to me that this chap that wrote the article is trying to convince readers that the current Anglo-Dutch financial system must be saved in its current form. It's very subtle, but it's in there. The current Keynsian system is what got us in this mess. Mike you are hitting the nail on the head. The greatest issue by the end of the year is the food shortage. Farm costs from last year's petroleum inputs (approx 34% of the barrel of oil goes to making chemical fertizers, only 16% to make fuels, also used heavy on the farm) have yet to be passed on to consumers. Farmers borrow one year & pay the next. Such a horrible perfect storm! The current oil prices are a temporary mirage. And so many crops diverted to create fuel! Thanks 4 your reports.

Hi! Way too much food is imported! Imported? Are they mad? Someone please tell me how much of the arable land in the US is used for bio-fuels. That land is allocated for fuel, and will not be available for food production for a couple of years. The same thing is happening in Canada; huge farms bought for bio-fuel production - bought by Chinese companies!
