Im studying Engineering in NZ, Most of them fuck off over seas and never come back....thats why NZ Has the shittest designed infrastructure in the world, aint nobody here to do a good job haha
we already have a cake tin. we don't need a fruit bowl! there was no human scales and the colours seemed boring. I mean come on NZ wake up! especially NZ Architecture it seems we just keep digging that pit deeper and deeper.
Nice proposal (Manukau Site) however I think this animation shows a lack of resolution as to how this stadium could/should be used, constructed and possibly a fly-in to show exact context would help it. Otherwise I would say nice lighting, water, and backdrop blending. I would vote for this proposal over the waterfront scheme as it seems more viable, in terms of the urban context and requirements of a stadium for auckland.
