But I don't think that the Bagpipe has a priorty in the band performance... more likely only a sort of event... if you are asking that question and don't know the answer STOP right there. Start with getting yourself a chanter first and learn to play. You will work your way up to a set of pipes, and by that time you'll know what you are looking for. Expect to pay at least $1200, but also expect to continuously spend money on your set for upkeep.
