it tells you "Update the system software and THEN link your account" So obviously you select do not use and then update, and then link. Its a shame that the Vita did not tell you in the requirements that you needed logic...

I got her a ps2 for her birthday, but all her friends have an xbox or a ps3, and she says she cant play online with them. Now the ps vita is coming out, and she is asking for one. Why sony? Why?

Buy her a PS3 its 250$ and the onlines for free. and go to gamestop or other stores they should have games under 60$. do NOT get her a 360. because you have to 60$ a year to play online. and i'm pretty sure your daughter doesn't like playing pure shooters. PS3 has a wide collection of games for every gender and age.

There was an update on the PS3 to prepare it for the Vita a couple weeks ago. I don't know how much you play your PS3 in comparison to your xbox (judging by the CAGCast you guys kinda favor the 360), but sign in on your ps3 and see if there's a new firmware. If so, install it, then link to your Vita or something. I don't know. See if that helps.
