Anyone could fill, sand smooth, and paint their dash black with 30 layers of clear coat. Have you seen the 2009 Escalade's dash. When a stock dash looks better then a custom dash. There is a problem. If it wasn't so squared off and you had some wood or chrome inlays. It would be 1000x better. I am sure if you took this truck to a car show or audio competition. You would hear the same things from them.
