dodge's problem, just about everything (don't put them together right in the factory, and poor design). chevy's problem, tie rods, transmission (unless alisson), aluminum engines, IFS on 3/4 and 1 ton pickups, interiors fall apart (cheap plastic), OVERHEATING, etc. i could go on.

ford's problem, no competition.

@silveradomanz71 There is nothing wrong with Ford's exhaust systems in any vehicle. they DID have a problem with the exhaust gases on diesels burning up due to a software glitch, which was very quickly fixed.

No Fords have ever had overheating problems. case and point, I tow trailers regularly up and down a mountain (3,500 - 7,000ft) with either 4 separate Fords, '87-'08. NEVER had an overheating problem. in fact, with the A/C full blast, the temperature stays exactly the same the whole way.

@silveradomanz71 depends on what i'm hauling. I've never weighed it, but one of the trailers is a 5,000lb empty dump trailer, sometimes loaded with dirt, gravel, logs, etc.

the trucks, however, are an '89 F-250 with a simple 5.0L V-8, an '08 F-150 with a 4.6L and an '07 F-150 with a 5.4L. all of those engines really should be too small, but they all get the job done no problem. the 4th is an '87 F-250 with a 460 big block. i just got it, but that is now the main tow vehicle.

i wasn't driving, but he was having fun. there was plenty to pull him out and fix the truck if something went wrong, and it's always funner to go fast through something like that. plus he probably would have gotten stuck if he went slow. that mud is weird, and you just bog down if you go slow.

it's a 2004 silverado 1500. the truck is lifted obviously, but as far as i know, no other major mods have been done to it, except maybe the exhaust and possibly a chip.

this is by Lake Williams. my uncle owns 10 acres up there, but where he's mudding is off of a road, and i think it's privately owned by a few people including my uncle. one of the neighbors got a bit mad though, so by all means go have a blast! you know, just to bug him a bit. none of the other guys there really care. i would give you a link to a Google map, but I've been having a little trouble finding the place for some reason.

well, not really. toyota and honda are both MADE in he USA, but all the money goes to japan. it's screwing up our economy big time. i like honda but they're sucking up our money. and as for the bailouts, only gm and chrystler got them, ford's still making money. you know what the government found gm and chrystler doing with all that money? giving it to their CEO's in big bonuses. that's another big reason i like ford right now, they're not going bankrupt. but, at least the money stays in the US.
