  • i have the game i can never find out how to make the 3 clouds how do imake em

  • Arakune take the super spam medal from Noel LOL

  • DAMN!

so could someone give me a summary of arakune's buffs and nerfs? how was his dive/air spike/drives nerfed/buffed...?

  • This reminds me of Dr. PP vs Lucky from Pound4, Dr. PP 4 stocks lucky game 1 but loses the set.

Top notch players don't even skip a beat when they get beat, they just move on.

  • @TwinSnakes89 Exactly, take your whinebaby comments elsewhere, it is not relevant to a high-level match between two japanese players in this game, go cry to your mommy.

  • Arakune can be so rape with curse. I am ok, I just need to learn more mixup. I see people dominating once they have curse, but I feel like I am just stumbling around hoping someone falls for one of the moves I know how to loop off of T_T

  • I luv the sounds he make as he curse XD MUsKuShii!! MUsKuShii!! MUsKuShii!!

  • WTH happened? It has to be more than one person playing Arakune. How do you go from a 115 hit combo to losing like that?

  • @MelficeSephiroth That's right, because execution trumps mindgames /s

  • @thegame4ever Mindgames like Jin slamming on C and D exclusively with barely anything resembling a combo at more than 2 points in the entire match?

  • @MelficeSephiroth his arakune was based on curse and when he couldnt land it he panicked and got wrecked

  • @qwert92263 Yeah I figured as much awhile after posting my comment.

  • @MelficeSephiroth Well, player 1 could have burst out of that combo if he wanted. Since it was available to him.

  • @MelficeSephiroth Jin was dangerously close to getting fucked in the final round and dodged a ton of things that would have ended him instantly. If Arakune had thrown out another cloud near the end I bet Jin would have lost.

  • @MelficeSephiroth Arakune's precurse game is kinda horrible. >_>

  • arakune is the best .....BEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • i just say... pwned!

  • arakune looks like a giant-deadly-marshmallow :D

  • "The real estate is burning".

  • Wow i can't believe that is a 115 combo fully teched, no blue beats. i am very impressed and slightly scared lol

  • ewww thats not right...

  • Is there anyone good with Arakune here, im maining him now and i want to find some i could get tips from.

  • If you watch closely at Arakume during 0:52 through 0:58, it almost looks like there are a couple of missing frame from the animation. I just bought BlazBlue:CS two days ago noticed this when playing as Jin and again later when playing with Arakume. Being new to the series, I didn't know whether my disc is faulty, whether my PS3 is having problems reading discs properlly or whether this is normal. can anyone please shed some light into this matter?

  • @Kagelicious That's Arakune's move that allows him to go invisible. It's done with 236B.

  • @thegame4ever

His "Equals O" move, right? Thanks a lot for clearing that up.

On a side note, I'm getting kind of stressed out at the fact that I am pretty much getting my butt handed to me in the 9th and 10th matches in Arcade Mode. While I am pretty much execute 90 percent of all characters' special moves, I simply cannot get the hang of the combos I see in many forums (and I'm attempting those without cancels :|). Do you have any advice for me?

  • @Kagelicious Hit training mode, and practice. And I suggest getting proper human experience, then CPU will be a joke. Except when it comes to Super Turbo.

  • @thegame4ever Damned ST computer. :(

  • @thegame4ever

i win quite a lot online. even when i fight people who are 25-30 levels above me. if i dont win, i still get really close. thats because ive used the training mode quite a bit. and the reason i might not win all the time is because i dont ever stick to one character, i play almost all of them. and level doesnt mean shit really. understanding the games mechanics is more important (duh)

  • There is reference to this combo in the game by Arakune during story mode. Although I believe he says 116 not 115 for the hits on it. Its during the Kokonoe thingy if you get his bad ending.

  • And even after all that Arakune gets his ass kicked

  • looks like my badass ghost friend learned some new tricks for the new game

  • Hmm. Interesting. The hard part is getting rid of their block onced they're cursed.

  • DAWILLA-FADE IS TURNING! LEBEL WOWN, AKSHUN!

  • @crazycrackerspeach

That does sound a lot like the announcer, expect I can hear her say "Rebel" instead of "level".

  • Arakune plays similarly but with some balanced aspects. That's all I need to work with. Even in CS he'll still be my main.

  • Arakune's curse sticks in CS. So yeah... you put more effort to get a curse in, you get more out of the curse if you succeed.

  • You can't be serious... What the fuck is wrong with the producers? First I see a Taokaka loop that can kill anyone with 3~4 repetitions and now this?

  • @BoItCrank Q_Q

  • vote this up for stupid people...

There was a 7 hit combo at the beginning of the match which was completely arbitrary to the actual 9.8k combo. The combo immediately following it was the kick-ass combo in question.

  • @TH3Z3R0H0UR

I did not see that.... Good job catching that.

  • @TH3Z3R0H0UR I checked that too lol

  • I think tagers scared, that was some real sovuet damage right there

  • "Uh will of fate is turning. Rubble wahn. Action!"

  • Hard to believe that the arakune didnt give his controller to a bystander.

From such pwn and understanding to such......nothing

  • Now i would like to have the bug from feet --> upp on Calamity Trigger

  • new announcer sounds like she has a bunch of peanut butter stuck to the roof of her mouth.

  • ok all thow he miss up i cant say that i would not be surped if some ara thew his self at me in the midle of a move cures me 100 persent and did a 65 hit combo leding in a 2 hit combo in to sopire i would naver jomp agem

  • Holy shit the new announcer is annoying.

  • 10割って本気でヤバいでしょ(笑)

  • oh god.... Well now I know that if I get grabbed by arakune I can expect to be cursed D:

And then face massive BEES EVERYWEHRE D: along with mixup

  • @thegame4ever Arakune = still a beast

  • @thegame4ever where as before it was curse win lol. its not a nerf its making him balanced

  • wtf u can barrier burst twice now?????????????

  • What happened at 2:36?

It looks like Arakune's "hovering cloud" descended on Jin.

Is this something Arakune can volitionally do now?

  • he jumped into it. It originally is suppose to appear over head anyway.

  • @alohaamigogo

If the cloud was summoned high up, it floats down to 'top screen' height.

  • lol 115 hits.

  • OMG, kune gets to keep the curse going after the combo. That's sick. Although the only characters that would have survived those 2 combos are probably Bang, Tager, and Hakumen.

  • Arakune: WhO....aid I wa... nerf..d? KIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHIHI

  • @GrimmJaX lold

  • @GrimmJaX

    LOL

  • @GrimmJaX xD

  • So in other words this combo isn't very threatening since it requires falling for the mixup for it to work.

  • It's still threatening. If the opponent can't see through the mixup, they have a 25% of blocking correctly. So it's relatively easy to land the 9.8k combo off of that full curse setup from the throw counter.

  • 0:39 Thats not even funny

Is this game coming to 2010?

  • PS3 and Xbox 360 July 1 2010.

  • @thegame4ever

    Fuck YES!

  • u got a link or something to confirm this?

  • I don't use Arakune very much, so I'm not entirely sure but was the Equal 0 to time the second 5D? Or was there another reason for it?

  • The Equal Zero was to lessen the recovery time of 5D. This was one of his main tools in CT to combo into curse. Now there's not much of a use for it.

  • Oh I see. I guess it's a case of old habits die hard then. Thanks.

  • Situational or not thats pretty ridiculous for that amount of damage to be coming out like that. And here I thought he got nerfed.....lol. So what if he has curse multiple times to get the curse. It is easier now to curse the majority of the cast since it has no hitbox and anything from his spit bugs or his "shit stick" attack on block contribute curse which imo is pretty stupid. I agree with curse not having a hit box but I dont agree with his spit bugs adding to curse on block.

  • Situational damage and non-situational damage aren't even comparable.

  • Glad you undertand. In CT Ara had guaranteed damage, and was still very strong without curse (Dives, one hit to curse, cloud curses on block). Here he has pathetic damage out of curses, you cannot dive, and you have to work hard to get that curse.

  • It does when a player can force the situation at almost any given time. While it is situational thats a bit much and then you are pron to a recurse at that. I would rather him have to curse me twice to get rid of me rather than a few tap hits then curse game over for most of the cast.

  • oh my god. this almost makes playing CS ara worth it.

  • Almost, but now he's a very situational character. Not my style but he's fun.

  • nice combo

  • the new announcer is terrible.

  • @jeezulz

DA WIO OF FAYT ISH TUEHNING

  • @jeezulz ZA GORILLA FATE IS TURNING. REBEL ONE. ACTION!

  • @jeezulz This. I think I was the only one who likes CT announcer much more :D

  • @jeezulz

    What do you mean ?

    I hate this announcer.

Terribly good or godly terrible ? lol

  • JIN WIN

  • lol. He got that Jin super angry.

  • Some proper skank stuff. I love it!!! To be honest it doesn't take a major amount of skill to use Arakune but still........ Air grab curses too???? :( I'd rather die than use Arakune :)

  • The timing for the j.D to hit after the air grab is tight, as well as negative edging the bugs. Also in this dive loop you have to account for the correct spacing so both dives connect. Before you go about judging a character you should play as them.

  • I apologise for my out burst. Guessing though you wouldn't do the same. This character has raped me and so many others i've watched it just not funny. Arakune lover :) By the way I did know that it's just the annoying people I play make this look easy. Apologies once again if i offended you.

  • It's not about me being offended, it's more about understanding what goes into playing the character. In CT you can classify me as those 'annoying' people since I was very dominant with Arakune, but I still carry it on to CS. CS Arakune pre-curse is very difficult to play, while in curse he's a bit easier than CT but not by much, then you go back into the pre-curse state which feels like playin an F tier character. In CS just put pressure on Ara he can't do shit.

  • Well this doesn't sound unreasonable, I'll definatly take all this into consideration.

    Many Thanks

  • It's amazing but that combo won't actually catch anyone now that we seen it. It start's high so this combo won't be used that much at all.

  • It was an air grab?

  • The air grab gives him full curse. The kill combo comes from the overhead hit to combo.

  • Doesn't really matter. You can get 100% curse from an airthrow unless they burst, and then from that point you can start a loop from either a high or low.

So it's just a point of mixing them up until they get caught. Just one poke is needed because once they get hit by a bug that's pretty much a free combo.

Also... it looks up the starter move was from a crossup. A really fast crossup at that. Quite legit. Props to the player who created the loop.

  • That's my point it gives 100% curse and it was amazing. But my point is that this combo is considerd a kill combo because of the starting hit. That hit reverse probates's so that many people have seen it do you think you can catch someone with again. Th cross-up was nice but it's only that hit that is made for this combo.

  • this game looks baddd asss, stupid pc cant run it lol.

  • @weazzy89

    yes it can

  • Yer i meant MY stupid pc lol

  • Holy shit what

what was the point of making rachel R.I.P. tier then?

  • He still lost... so what's the big deal? Looks like he can't do shit when they're not cursed.

  • Exactly besides it's a high hit and if start's from anyting else it's much lower. This combo is pretty much like a one- hit wonder once you see it you know what to watch out for.

  • I'm glad you noticed. You really tire in cursing the opponent, it's not guaranteed damage like some characters (Taokaka, Bang, Litchi).

  • Yeah I know what you mean. The Tao loop is BS a gurantee 4-5k damage off just a hit. Off the counter 6C 6-7k. Bang super combos barely reduce in a combo. Plus he can instanly apply pressure very easily. Litchi well is well-rounded but still a pain.

  • BAKAMEMUDADAGODO

  • great job with the arakune nerf arcsystem studio!

  • The balance is as bad as CT in general.

  • It's kinda better? The top two of the bottom 3 aren't nearly as bad off as they were in the last game. ... With the exception of Rachel. Options-wise, she's better off than CT Tager. Match ups though, she's just as bad.

  • WTF! O_o

  • Aywan

  • lol allah yaster mennek ya 7ayat :P

  • Oh the joy. I cant wait to see Litch loop.
