  • One of my favorite Cher songs (the UK version.) The original was by Jo Jo and the Real People and it was later recorded by Johnny Logan before Cher did it.. Cher's is the best version of the three.

  • I LOVEEE THIS VERSION

  • One of her best songs and vocals. Too bad she doesn't include it in her live shows.

  • i saw cher in concert her farewell one she came here to nz auckland best concert ive ever been to she is just amazing adore her and always will.

  • This is the best version. the us version was terrible 90s RnB this is a classic pop tune.

  • "Rare" maybe for people from the USA but this version is not "rare" at all

  • @G4nebula rare video

  • I was gonna say the same thing. This is the only version i know! Love this song :)

  • I love love love this song!

  • Who cares what the lyrics mean, it's the music that counts and the arrangement is interesting on this track.

  • When the video was released in the United States it followed the same concept, but some scenes were added and some were taken off, the beginning was also much different including animations which followed the beat of the song. Finally a third video was released due to the popularity of the single's club remix. Dan Rucks or most famously known as Dan-O-Rama remixed the video by using a combination of both original videos. The remix used for the video was the Junior Vasquez vocal edit.

  • beautiful! thy for sharing <3

  • Cher is just hot !!

  • @CenturianRule this song is on one of her greatest hits albums, not sure which. she could have several

  • i don't get why this is the rare version. i live in the u.k, didn't realise there was another version. brilliant though

  • This is a great song with a great arrangement totally sperior to the US version ...

  • I really don't get it.. is this song talking about god or something..?

  • @RafaelGxG

I think it's about sexual anticipation.

  • @Agerasia bollox its about a couple that argue, break up, realise that they need each other and get back together

  • Great vocal from Cher!

  • Love this version!

  • @sorcerer3117 Me too. It's the best version of the song. The dance mix is pure cheese and the chords in the US R&B mix don't fit the song.

  • Beautiful woman, great song.

  • I remember in the 90's loving this song but thinking it was a bit different for Cher but looking back it's actually classic Cher sound. I really prefer her when she is like this! Hope her new album is classsssy.

  • The chorus just RUINS this tune!!!

  • I often read comments about Cher ... comments that compare to young and recent artists , who have achieved success by about 2 years or so. My opinion is that such a comparison is wrong and misplaced. Cher is not just a singer with a powerful and extraordinary voice.. she is an actress, producer and television presenter too. Won an Oscar in 1988 for best actress in the film Moonstruck, and has a music career with over 40 years.

Artists of today's music have much to learn from a woman like that .

  • @Sitzigorru You're so right!

  • @sorcerer3117 Thanks! :-)

  • Oldies but Goldies! I love this song even though i have never caught love!!!

  • I remember watching this video on VH1 when it came out. This is not solely a UK version. This is just the album version. Still a great song though. :)

  • This version is nice, but the US version is better suited for my taste, and not just because I'm an American in the US. ;-)

The US version has more of an R&B feel to it. I think some people may not care for it because it's not Cher's usual style. I do like a lot of Cher's songs, and I do like a lot of rock and pop music, so it's nothing against the genre or the artist.

The US version is more sultry, in my opinion. Sultry is also Cher's style. :-)

  • this version is SOOOO much better than the u.s version

  • It's interesting how Christina Ricci was 16-years-old when this music video was filmed, and she's supposed to be portraying someone (mostly likely) in their 20's! I always thought she looked mature for her age, which comes in handy in the acting business. :)

  • @freewhiterice you mean the girl in this video is Christina Ricci?

  • @freewhiterice Christina Ricci was the girl in this video?

  • Yep. :) @Camaleonte79

  • awesome smooth voice !! so romantic to be with your boy or girl kissing each other :)

  • My Mum bought me the CD single of this for my 12th Birthday in 1996, gets played every year now.

Didn't realise it was a fairly unknown version. Was a big hit here in UK.

  • I have never seen this version! Thank you!

  • Soltanto 4 commenti?

  • the guys who wrote this song are from liverpool and are 2 of the best song writers in the world i think, well done tony and chris.

  • me too!

  • I could listen to that song all day long - I used to actually !

And Cher is so beautiful in this video !
