American teens and young mothers newest status symbol is popping out a baby to be 'In'. Sad part, these babies are far more likely to be abused. When did we start accepting 'teen mother hood' by allowing day cares in high schools? In less than 25 years, we have gone from what was unacceptable behavior, to an epidemic.

However, daycares in schools are making the situation better for the teen moms-better as in parenting classes, graduating from high school and support. You also have to realize that many teen mothers end up more responsible and mature while raising a child. Teen mothers are good mothers too. Of course it is devastating that teens become mothers. Neglecting the young mothers and abondaning them is not the solution.
