America was founded as a Republic NOT a Democracy.

This is retarded. In case you didn't know, before Rome was an empire, it was a republic. The fasces was a symbol of the Senate and the Republic. The US obviously adopted the fasces as a symbol or republicanism. In case you didn't notice, the Founding Fathers were pretty crazy about Republican Rome.

Rome never went away. It became the Holy Empire and has survived and metasticized like a cancer and now is the authority in Europe and especially the United States.

The Holy Roman Empire was not a continuation of the Roman Empire. For most of its history, it never had Rome within its borders, and when it was formed in the Middle Ages, the true Roman Empire still existed in the form of the Byzantine Empire (a historical name, its citizens referred to themselves as "Romans").
