I went to Catholic school from 1960 to 1966. It absolutely "ruined me" and gave me a life of panic attack / agorophobia. The nuns took great relish in public humiliation & physical punishment. If your books were not arranged in a certain order in your desk the nun would scoop everything out of your desk and violently fling it all over the floor. I saw one kid get slapped right out of his chair. If "one" person did something wrong the whole class had to stay after. Rot in hell nuns
