How is this any different than alchohol and tobacco sales? They are promoting lifelong poor eating habits, and the health problems that are evident now.
@jewlqueen65 You're right...this is not the 1960's! In the 60's the buildings had the large arches over them. I remember them well! The style shown in this commercial didn't come about until the 70's!
in 1505 a woman was hunted down and killed by an evil clown.now that you have read this, that same clown will be sitting next to your bed with a machete and red, evil glowing eyes when you wake up,unless you post this to 10 other videos in 1 hour of reading this.hurrey up.
bigtool66 - Sid & Marty Krofft, creators of HR Puffnstuff, actually designed all the McDonald Land characters (in their typical style). Then McD's refused to pay up ... but kept all the characters, nonetheless. Sid & Marty discuss this on the Puffnstuff DVD set. (Yeah, apparently they got royally - or "royalty" - screwed!)
@mackface classic, didn't realize that, but makes total sense. That whole land is right from puffenstuff. ...and HR Puffenstuff I think premiered in 69 or7 0?
This is more like a 1970 commercial. If it had anything to do with the 60s if would have been late 1969. This is one of the early McDonaldland commercials.
mc donalds was a kindergarden?

That's actually the 1970's not the 1960's!
If it's the 1960's the slogan would be "McDonald's is Your Kind of Place"

It's so strange to see these commercials and then listen to McDonald's spokespeople deny that they deliberately market to children.

This had to be mid 70s. McDonald's remodeled all of their restaurants to have a more colonial style for the Bicentennial.
