@vcval actually there are two differences in this video compared to the myth busters attempt. One: This is a full blown dragster putting out more than 800HP I'm certain and the Myth busters used a stock Pontiac Firebird Trans Am.
The second difference is: This guy has drag slicks. The Myth Busters used street tires.
Those two points alone make up a huge difference in setting tires on fire doing burnouts.
@Vanakatherock you are right on the fact that this has way more power,than the beater that myth busters used. but you are wrong about the tires these guys generally use old street tires for burnout comps because slicks are way to expensive to just throw away. also you can tell by the steel rims.
