I have a flowmaster original 40 on my Colorado. I'm not sure if I like the 40 or the 50 better. Check out my exhaust videos and tell me what you think.

I've just got the stock pipes which I think are 2.5"

Nope, all I did was cut out the stock muffler and had the flow 50 welded in.

Because of what I've heard about them and drone in the cab. Plus I haven't found a good video or sound clip of it to make a judgment on.

Someday I might upgrade

How's the noise level in the cab? Loud or soft?

It depends. During every day driving on a straight road it isn't bad at all. However if you get on it or are going up hill and have to gas it, it can get kind of loud.

I usually keep my radio at the beginning of the 4th volume level and I can always hear it over the muffler.
