the raiders played a great game, took it to the chargers, got jobbed on a horrible call, and barely lost. the chargers, "the best team in the afc west" and one of the top teams in the league barely got by the lowly raiders. jamarcus russell had one of his worst games accuracy wise (and thats saying something), and they still hung in there. the chargers offense didnt get going until late.

the raiders should go at least 7-9 this year. they will pancake the broncos and chiefs twice

I used to be a die hard Raider fan. You know the kind that watched during win, loss, or tie. But as I got older, football just wasn't that important to me. I realized as all of you should come to realize one day, What did the team ever do for you? Nowadays I hear about the Raiders and when they are brought up I ask "So how are they gonna do this year?" I like your passion for the Raiders. I was born in the 70's and watched all the greats play and that is why I am a Raider fan today. Al Davis created many great teams in the past. He loves to win and wiin big. But his feud with the NFL that started when he moved the team to L.A. has caused us Raider fans much heartship. Refs started calling rediculous pentilties on us and its been a battle trying to win, although we still seemed to get it done with the bad calls. WE need to do it again.
