Amazing!! Thanks for posting this - excellent bell choir! Being a ringer here, I know how difficult but fun that kind of playing can be! Merry Christmas!
I love A Christmas Festival and loved this arrangement of it for Bell Choir. Quite brilliant playing! What I didn't love was the audience noise in the background. Get rid of the children and the idiots talking and it would have been superb!
wow we played this for our select wind enseimble and i play bells for my church and we could never ever play this even if our life depended on us well we do only go up to d7 and down to c4 and you good job
This is truly beautiful! I loved every second of it. I used to play the handbells too, but we were not as good as you are. Brings back sweet memories, thank you!
A wonderful medley, and the cleanest sound from the most disciplined handbell choir I've ever heard! BRAVISSIMO!! The chimes add another marvelous and solid dimension. I only wish that audience members with small children could be more respectful by removing them BEFORE they disrupt the beauty of other's blessings. One suggestion: Is there any way to enhance the base in the beginning of "Oh Come All Ye Faithful"? It would offer a lovely contrast to the lighter second section.
The song played at 1:48 is "Good King Wenceslaus"....("looked out on the feast of Stephen, When the snow lay round about, deep and crisp and even. Brightly shone the moon that night, though the frost was cruel,
When a poor man came in sight, gathering winter fuel.")
Awesome Job!!! A Great way to start the holiday. I couldn't read the name of the church, but would love to know if you combined choirs for this or are they together all the time. Nice Work technically and a great sound.
My goodness... we're doing this song for our college concert band (and I saw this performed in another college for THEIR college performance). Excellent, excellent.
Beautiful!

They are plucking the bass bells to add the beat. They are also striking the bells with mallets.

This piece seriously sucks on the bells. For all the expression they get, it might as well be played on harpsichord.
My band is playing this, and the crappy transitions between themes are far less distracting with a wider palette of tone colors to disguise them.

technically well played, of course
