@michellemcdonald1109 They first went in the pool around 4 months - but not that often. They started going in the pool every day right after they turned 2yrs and could swim on their own by within 6-8 months or so. This was taken when they were 3 years old

It's amazing to me that my girls love the water so much because although I can swim and have never been afraid of the water, I would not consider myself 'a water person' but it's natural - they were born with the love of water - ever since they were tiny babies their favorite and most relaxing time was bath time!

I did not plan on making a video or posting it to YouTube, I just ended up with so many swimming clips after a few months in the pool and one day got inspired to put them together. They usually swim with little tops but they took them off one day when I was filming them and since we have a private pool, that didn't bother me. I know everyone has different views on children being clothed, but personally it does not bother me if they are shirtless in a pool at this age
@Tamieaaa No lessons but we started taking them in the pool at about 4 months old and they were always naturally happy in the water. They learned to swim using a little floaty suit made by 'swim school' - It has a tire - like tube around the waist area so they would stay afloat but still be able to swim and use their arms and legs as they would without a floaty and by practicing with this for about 3 months they started wanting to try without it and eventually, just swam on their own.
