Minimal is subjective.

It says on Apples Website the Iphone 3gs is 'up to 2x faster'. The key words are 'up to', meaning you will not get a pure 2x speed increase all the time.

Sure it's faster, but is it worth ditching my 3g for this? No, it's not. That is also subjective, which is why I said it's minimal and that it's not worth upgrading from a 3g to a 3gs.

You still can't zoom in on the camera or video on the 3GS. However, there are still many improvements. 3.0 megapixel camera is a disappointment, when many others offer 5 megapixel or better. Nokia N97 blows the iPhone away.

Very confusing actually when I first upgraded I turned it on and after the apple logo disappeared I thought it turned off! So I turned it 'on' again but in fact I was turning it off! I kept doing this and was convinced my phone had broken during the update!

I then turned it on and left it...and a few secs later it turned on! I felt pretty stupid.
