I recoment Pestilence of the album Malleus Maleficarum

  • That solstice album actually reminded me of day after tomorrow & desperate measures.

  • Fuck yes, this is an awesome list! Check out my compilation as well.

  • Amazing list. Thank you!

  • Deaththrash!!!

  • Wheres Death?

  • At 3:36 the back ground of the album 'Soldice' looks almost exactly like New York that's been frozen in the film 'The day after tommorrow'.

  • Great! Check out Eviction - Living In Emptiness!

  • Merciless!!!! >:)

  • All begins with Possessed.

  • darn my english is total crap,....

  • 90% are nothing more then venom rip-offs,...probably the reason, why 90% of these bands dont exist anymore and/or made only 1 -2 albums: venom kicked there ass and still does,...

  • @velardur Venom stopped being good after the Possessed album.

  • 6:06 fucking paul "god" speckmann!!!!!

  • Fuck yes Chemical Breath slays

  • Amazing, I've been trying to get into all of this new wave of thrash bands out there, and this kicks all there asses. Thanks

  • @Hubcool367 Of course, unbelievably sick and underrated band

  • Great video!!!!

  • satanic stuff? this songs make you go to heaven

  • I hope Revocation makes Death/Thrash more popular to today's society

  • Didn't expect Demolition Hammer on this list but still a kick-ass band.

  • demolition hammer is easily the most brutal thrash-deathrash band in the history... rip vinnie

  • how about sepultura?

  • Merciless <3

  • MORTURY UFFFF QUE PERO QUE BANDA

  • Merciless's The Awakening was actually released in 1989. There are some examples of lps from that year. It just wasnt widely avalible until 1990. So in reality, it's an '89 release.

  • death metal and thrash metal are like cousins

  • @bizarewigga And Death/Thrash is the inbred child of the two!

  • Death's Scream Bloody Gore is a good example of raw death thrash

  • best metal compilation video ever! Epidemic are fucking amazing!

  • Along the lines of Demolition Hammer, Infectious Hospital Waste is my favourite.

  • Should've included Sodom's Tapping The Vein album. VERY strong Death Metal influence.

  • demolition hammer FTW

  • This is just what i was looking for bro. thanks a bunch.

  • Awesome, I love Chemical Breath, hell of an underrated band

  • @GTASbo0mst1ck agreed Chemical Breathe is very underrated and they kick a lot of ass.

  • Solstice kick ass!

  • Death/Thrash Metal Iron Maiden, Helloween, Sepultura, Megadeth, Testament, Danzig, Kreator, Dark Angel, Nuclear Assault, Guns N' Roses Death Angel, Anthrax, Slayer, Motley Crue, Artillery, Sucidal Tendencies, L.A. • SOLSTICE!!!!!!!! finally, someone who likes them

  • Great video...but Deomlition hammer and Blood Feast played true thrash metal, they don't pertain to thrash/death

  • Solstice !!!!!

  • no Vader, deceased but still great list

you can put cannibal corpse's first demo and LP its kind of Thrash/Death

  • truly a mothafucking amazing list u got here, aguante MORTUARY!!! cheers!!!

  • No Flymore??!?! Dude, everyone has to check out Flymore. They are from Russia.

  • @StanHowser they are Nu metal and not Thrash/Death you poser

  • the difference between thrash and death is alot more than lyrics. the guitars are heavier and darker, not necessarily fast like thrash has to be. The drums are more doublebass (usually), blast beats ofcourse, vocals are rougher, more gutteral or totally gutteral whereas thrash is harsh but sounds like the singer is running out of air (cuz he usually is). Subject matter always helps. Death metal ofcourse is usually about death in some form.

  • @autopsy87 not all death metal has blast beats in it. i haven't heard really any bands in the 80's that blasted besides morbid angel and, well, morbid angel. and obituary doesn't blast at all i don't think, nor have i really heard death blast, except in like one song. i'm talking about blasts so much because i hate to say it, that's a very big defining difference between thrash and death.

  • @yamanick92 i agree, i mean that blast beats are usually a death metal calling card. I cant think of any non death metal band who used blast beats

  • some of this death thrash is pretty shitty... not the somposure, but the production just is horrible

  • Thanks for sharing this, I've missed a lot of these bands. Too many of these bands get unnoticed for various reasons. And you're right, Kreator isn't death/thrash; Mille Petrozza vocals often give that impression though. Nonetheless, Kreator's a great band and definitely one of the most aggressive thrash bands.

And I'm especially pleased that you list Death Strike, far too many people are unaware of Paul Speckmann's HUGE influence on the underground.

  • Where is Kreator in this... I mean... Under the Guillotine? Or Ripping Corpse? Pleasure to Kill?

  • @Titant2 I don't consider Kreator a deathrash band although they used to play truly violent thrash on their early albums like PTK and EP

  • @Necrophobic235

Hmmpff... I still think Kreator should be in this list. I mean Ripping Corpse is a death/thrash song.

  • @Necrophobic235 this is true. most don't like their new stuff, but i think it's decent-ish.

  • @Necrophobic235

I'd actually consider "Under the Guillotine" to be a death/thrash song, but... about it. They leaned closer to black metal than death metal on those, but thrash overall.

  • @Necrophobic235 LOL WTF Kreator is pure thrash

  • @Necrophobic235 Kreator's albums Endless Pain and Pleasure to kill are also the blue print in Deaththrsh Dude.

  • DEMOLITION HAMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
