@iScAre1 Well, the game has passwords (That you can find on Serebii) to unlock more Pokémon and features. And you need to complete every high score for a new Pokémon to be unlocked for that event. Then you can befriend the Pokémon by clearing the event with them. (Groudon, Mew, Jirachi, etc.)

At least it's not turn based. Turn based is DEAD. They need a full game where you can control every pokemon you catch. Real Time action games> Turn based. Dunno why it took them this long to realize this. If you could actually control and dodge, Pokemon games wouldn't suck so much. It's the same dam thing over and over with better graphics and new people. They need new gameplay.
