  • is the filter the only effect on xzone 92? no echo, delay, flanger or roll?

  • @jn45672 Nope. It's an analog mixer, no other effects... it's just built like a tank and sounds fantastic! Given we almost all use software now, just do most of your effects there and use MIDI controllers... this is why i LOVE my Rane 2016... it's just a... mixer, nothing more, nothing less, and it sounds awesome.

  • or the mixer

  • hey mellon i got the mixer in Ny USA i was using it there but now i moved to italy and yeah it is 110 and 240 something like that i called allen and heath and they told me to plug it direct to the wall with the right cable i bought the cable plug it and now im using it its working good however when i push the filter button sometimes sounds a little weird sound it works good but sounds like when i turn on and off the mixer with the studio monitors or speakers ON idk if it's the speakers.

  • @guillenrossi Periods. Use them.

  • HELP HOW DO I PLUG THIS IN EUROPE ?? DIRECT TO THE WALL OR SOME ANNOYING ADAPTER

  • where did you buy the mixer? is it 110 or 220 volt?

what country do you want to use it in?

if your mixer is not the same volt as the voltage used in the country you are in you will need a transformer to change the current, to be honest i bet that doing this for a long period of time would fry your mixer!

WARNING = do not plug this in until you get an answer as you may ruin your mixer!

  • i got a 92, and it is very,very sweet!

  • Good description of resonance there...

  • @Ryan0751 rofl i thought so. i was like Hmm...doesnt he have a rane? and a baller ass pad

  • @Badl2ussian LOL yeah I do have the Rane rotary now... but I'd still go back to a 92. But the Rane is still just freaking awesome.

  • @ djomercohen they are compeltely dif mixers the djm doesnt stand a chance next to the 92 in sound quality and ability with filters. Djm is a bedroom mixer xone is professional

  • Great demo. Would love to know the track ID.

  • to many buttons ;/ ,, i think the djm 800 is the best ,, so simple & easy :)

  • @djnarcotic I'll take knobs over faders any day. and yes I have the knob version also

  • What's the tune that sounds in this video???

  • how mutch is it for a xone92?

  • @djdeckieful same as the djm 800, the nly difference is that the djm 800 is overpriced

  • @pillefreeride oh yeah you won't hear it at 120dB...but maybe at 100? 120 is killing your ears, man.

  • bullshit.

i have the djm 800, and it suck next to this.

  • exc demo man thanks a lot this is what i needed to choose this xone 92 instead of the djm 800 that seems less profesional and do you have any demo on the 4 band eqs?? or if u can recommend me a video for that thanks a lot

  • ok I'm down to 3 mixers I think. I got suckered into buying an APC 40 but like the grid. I need a mixer to put audio into. So whats the best option?Im running Ableton live 8 only. Im down to the korg 800 , pioneer 800 or thxone 92. suggestion?

  • get the xone 4d m8

  • @jakemarkjane xone 4D is partly digital, so is the 3D. Xone 92 is 100% analogue sound.

  • 800 you dont need a 4d if you have a apc 40

  • i think you're meaning the korg km 402...or the zero 8. the zero 8 is cool, but i think you won't need one like that since you have the apc...

  • i bought the djm 800 and it was the biggest mistake.

the xone 92 is twice better and alot more comfortable and professional, it has better sound and filters, if you also want effects than buy an effect unit. the djm 800 is overpriced , it has gimmic and doesnt sound as good as the xone 92.

  • You clearly know what you are talking about mister! :)

Anyhow.. I've tried this mixer, doesnt feel right for ME.. it might feel right for you. by all means i respect that. But you dont need to say shit like "well, we all get over the marketing hype eventually!" i like it better then the xone92. shoot me?

  • Someday you'l quit being a wise ass, and actually understand that different people like different things :)

  • i still like the 800 better.

  • did you try\heard the xone 92 in reality? cause i have the 800 and i regret that i bought it, i tought of it the same as you before it and now t.

trust me, it just look better... and the xone 92.... its the best club mixer there is...

it sounds \ feels and technically better than the 800.

  • @djomercohen Anyone who has worked with both, and I dont mean like a 2 hour set, I mean spend a few work nights with each one, will confirm this. The 92 is and feels way superior than the 800.

  • xone 92 rotary best club mixier in my opinion ;-) great sound, great filters but high price.

  • ya get what ya pay for. but yea it is great, separate midi section, filters are the bomb and LFO is monstrous!

  • i bought a djm 800 10 month ago and iam preatty dissapointed from the build quality\sound

i think that for that price i should have got more.

i wish allen&heath (sorry if i misspelled) will develop a mixer with built in effects.

  • yeah (amirjon) hes right clubs now want the whole pioneer set up and there all digital aswell... they can use one we digital cable that sounds great.. but if your useing records and love minimal/techno buy the zone range!

  • 1500 for a mixer is nothing now. look at the 3d or 4d or the new pioneer svm mixer, that thing is 9000 dollars

  • its 7g dude

  • 1.6k for a mixer...my GOD..

  • I bought a new one for 1.1 (euros).

  • Ok than asshole. I would like to see your company create a mixer that can do so much, and costs a certain price just to make, what are you gonna sell it retail value lower than the price it costed you to make it? You would go bankrupt retard, Xone and other dj companies are all struggling a little, well not much pioneer, but the economy effects everybody deuchebag, so if you got nothing nice to say, just stfu next time and smoke a cig and chillax nigs.

  • 800 now isnt it

  • kirellon, you can't compare a computer-program like traktor with a hardware mixer.

a&h-mixers are built up of analog components...and those analog components have their price.

at home you don't need a xone:92. you won't hear a big difference on your home-PA. but in a club you will hear a difference and you will need quality that leasts some time.

  • i was considering an 800 too! to be honest i cant remember the last time i see a pioneer in a booth! pretty much A&H these days. if you get an 800 and come across a 92 in the booth, your gonna feel at home with it anyway! have a go on the 800 first! i gotta say, i had a DJM600 and apart from the filter, i only used the flanger and phaser. and the only reason i used them was if (you know that part of a track that sounds a bit boring?) that was the only time i used an effect. id stick with the 92

  • i sold my DJM-800 for a Xone 4D. To be honest.... I like the xone better. Big ups to Traktor!!

  • id say 90% of clubs have the 800

  • they do because it is a great set for most djs and fits most djs mixing style. And they have good sound but, Computer based mixers can give a much better sound then any analog mixer. I think almost every allen & heath including the analog mixers owns the sound of a pioneer set badly. Its just the cult around it.

  • i had a 92! "fader" the filters are sweet.

  • what did you think of it? Why dont you have it anymore? Any problems?

  • i couldnt fault it mate! i had to get rid of all my gear due to unforseen circumstances! i was gutted, but i will get another one.

  • Hmm it must of been difficult, I am debating between this mixer and Pioneer Djm 800, although this one has some more bells and whistles, but isnt used much in discos and thats where I want to play so I dont know what to do.

  • do i look like linds lohan?

  • how easy it is to play on it if you never touched one and only worked with djm?

  • nice mixing mate :D

  • n1 good mixer

  • Hey Ryan can i ask you what that track name is and the artist because that track is spot on !

  • Nice demo :D

  • w the faders

  • rotary is better than faders,

    for me:)

  • with this one u can do everything u want to!!!!

  • Knaders>Fobs

  • haha good one!:d

  • Faderes>Knobs

  • i played on one of these in Salzburg, Austria... I've yet to own one

  • yea i played with one in clubmilk in belfast on sunday there top notch

  • nice taste dude, whats the tracks name?¿

  • what is the song playing here?? its sick!

  • used this mixer for a recent judge jules gig i organised in notts - perfecto!

  • I GO CRAZY FOR THE XONE:92... BUT... is it so better than the pioneer djm800?? I have to vuy one of this two models: WHAT OF THE 2 MIXER IS BETTER?

  • or you can get xone and efx-1000 and wipe the floor with djm 800. 8)

  • so which is better the 92 or the 800?

  • Neither! both great mixers.

  • I really liked the response ryan...

    djforums???

    --dj_@llelos

  • @Ryan0751

The 800 has cool effects but way poor audio quality compared too the 92

  • @Ryan0751 would the djm 2000 beat it now?

  • @PinkysBrains

    xone 92

i own a djm 800 and trying to get rid of it

  • @PinkysBrains the 800 has effects but is made very cheaply, the xone 92 has a solid build and the knob turning is more precise, pioneer is cheaply made but high tech, plus a 4 band eq how can you go wrong. xone 92 has 5 seperate circuit boards which are put in vertically to prevent damages matching up to pioneers one flat panel? hmmmm

  • hey man why can't i get my filters to work? i mean the filter switch and blu led is on but when i turn the knob it doesn't affect the sound at all. is my 92 messed up or could some my connections just wrong?

  • Did you set the little switch above the cue button to filter 1 or 2?

  • yeah, i did. it's really weird. everything seems to work perfectly except for the filters.

  • yeah, i did. it's weird. everything seems to work perfectly except for the filters. i have the input connected to aux. could that be the problem?

  • You can't use the filters on the aux inputs. That's why there are only filter select switches on channels 1-4.

  • big, big thanks dude... it's working already!

  • XONE 92 ,gives really good stuff for DJ'ing...i like it.

  • thanks for the next video. it would be great if you could do the demo of controlling korg kaoss pad 2 via x:92 midi ! (right/left filter knob on x:92 controlls X,Y pad of KP2 and the mixer crossfader engages the efx unit)

  • I don't have a KP2 anymore!
