I thought they cancelled it becuz they weren't getting good enough ratings because friends was on at the same time.

They canceled it because they thought it would be cheaper to make more sitcoms than an improv show was what I was told, I don't believe it though since this was a low-budget show. I think that they just didn't get enough viewers, but now that people know more about the show I don't doubt that if it was back on air people would watch it.
