Michael is a "broken vessel" full of humility, and the Father will use him to the fullest because his heart is open. I've never seen anyone more full of the gentle Holy Spirit than this young man, never seen anyone more convicted, more forgiven, or more committed to the Lord, and his family. Enough said. He left to do ministry with his wife Barbi Franklin, and it appears he's still doing that.....google their names, or "Heart For the World Ministries," and you should find them.

After reading most of the comments below, I'm amazed that God allows any of us to remain here at all. There are so many who are so critical of those who make mistakes and it breaks my heart to know I served in churches for so many years as a music/worship minister to hear other Christians waiting to pounce on someone who has done something wrong. jfn, I have no issue with those who prefer Guy over Micheal, though I am annoyed by such judgement...when only God should say. One good that Meg is making.....its tiring seeing someone continually falling back (which English has done more than a few times since 1995)yet they get placed in front of someone who may be more deserving in human eyes. Why is David after God's heart, but Moses does not cross over Jordan? This is where I have to give it up and hand it over to God.

Huge! Guy is PURE Gold with an impeccable christian talent. God gave Guy a great respectful gift and he has honored it. Michael tarnished his role & has had to continue as a secular singer even though we agree he has talent. Guy shines in his spirit & God continues to shine through his singing. Moses was a wonderful servant too, but he wasn't allowed in the Promise Land due to his sin. I just don't receive Michael's style as God given talent now. So ag'n, w/ Guy's way, I can sing along w/ God.

I am not ashamed to say I agree with meganolia. Mr. English may have more vocal talent but he is clearly a different spirit than Guy. Guy has that gentle caring way about him and you can see it in his eyes. Mr. English stopped serving God and I don't know many drug addicts or adulterers reaching the promised land. Mr. Penrod is a real believer!

Let me share a little something with those of you that feel that it's necessary to condemn Michael English (or anyone, for that matter).

You may want to dive into your Bible and do some reading. Why don't you check out John 8. Especially John 8:7..."Let he who is without sin cast the first stone".

You may want to check out some of these other scriptures. John 3:15-18, John 10:28-30, Romans 8:38-39, Ephesians 4:30, and Jude 24. Once saved, always saved! That's what the Bible says.
