to get your skirmishers to face forward, you can press the move forward button on the right of the ui for a sec, and if they move far enough, they face forward and stay like that.

yeah, I have to do that sometimes, but it doesnt always work. when they are facing sideways sometimes they dont face forward

And I did not pick the map. he was the host. I'm not sure about which side is which but if I had the host's side, it is because he switched. I only host battles on request so he chose this map.
