Absolutely one of my favourite musicians. I was fortunate enough to see him live, although it does not compare to an experience like this! What a great video :)
I sat a few rows behind Ed in a U2 concert in (I think it was) Toronto. A number of people who didn't recognize him asked him if he could take their pics with the stage in the background, etc, and he was super cool about it all. The people who did know who he was mostly gave him his space. I started to sing "one week" and my wife punched me.
i thought that was really good version of the song.. Ed does so well in those more laid back type settings his voice is right on point. i also would love to be able to sit back and chill with him and the guys, to play or sing along would be cool but just shooting the sh*t i think would be just nice. thanks for sharing this.
I love BNL for this reason. Genuinely nices guys. But this song just isn't the same without Steve. They're equally talented in different areas. They were perfect together. Lets hope they reunite soon. I would love to see them in concert TOGETHER
Ed is obviously a more polished acoustic guitar player than Steve is. However Steve's voice is out of this world, while Ed's is just very good ( a compliment). Steve didn't sing lead more often by coincidence. They made a hell of a team.
Ed and Steve are both uniquely talented at what they respectivly do. They together made BNL the incredible band that made music for us to love. However, people need to focus on the fact that these random students got to do a sing-a-long with a future Canadian music Icon!!!
Actually, Steve left for personal reasons that had nothing to do with Ed. He remains on good terms with the rest of the band, and remains open to the possibility of re-joining some time in the future
I like Ed's singing, but Stevens got the much better voice. If Ed starts singing 'Call & Answer" on the new tour, I'm boycotting BNL 'till Steve comes back.
BNL was a big part of my college experience. It is surreal to see them having moved on in separate ways...

Really Wish that Steven and Ed Were still a pair and not Seperate.. This is a page song but Ed does ok.

I like how Ed has to change the key the song is played in because he can't match the inhuman ability to sing that Steven contains.

Love Love Love that song!
On our way to watch BNL at the Casino in NH right now! So excited!

I saw them in Toronto 10 days before they split! It was an unreal show and just wouldn't have been the same with out Steve. Awesome performance!

I love BNL but I bet Steve left because he can't compete with Ed, who can easily front the band himself.

But steven sings from his soul... they're much better together. His voice is purely beautiful. But I do like Ed overall better.

As a die-hard fan I'm happy to hear some of the songs recorded with Steve's voice still sound amazing in Ed's voice. Maybe there is hope :D

Well, Steve Page sings this song so I think I can forgive Ed for not knowing all of the words, he sure got the chords right.
