Romania is more correct than Russian, why?

Moldova was part of the Greater Romania in recent times(well most of the time anyway), and in the Medieval ages it was one of the four big states populated by ROMANIANS. before WW2, and after that they were an independent state.So she's basically moldavian, and as a moldavian she probably has more romanian roots than she does russian ones.

Though keep in mind that my opinion is based solely on the fact that she was born in Moldavia.

@TheTennisace05 Actually Moldova IS Romania. Every moldovan considers him or herself as being Romanian except the 15-20% of russians brought in Moldova by communists directly from "mother russia". Their official language is ROMANIAN and we romanians, as well as them, moldovans, consider ourselfs brothers. Don't speak of what you don't know about and just ask any Moldovan and he will say that he is ROMANIAN in origin with Dacian and Roman ancestors.

come on, u cannot be serious! Moldova is a SOVEREIGN state, and it can't be referred as Romania! Yes Romania occupied the country and treated Moldovan people very badly, and yeah trust me they did, there is much evidence of that. Politicians use youngers to provoke conflict within the country, but the MAJORITY DO NOT consider themselves as Romanians. So please, do speak of what something that you dont know!

I didn't say Moldova isn't a sovereign state, i said every moldovan wants to be unified with Romania again, we have the same ancestors, the Romanian people and language were founded when conquering Romans came to Dacia, you are just slavs from former slavic tribes...

@TheTennisace05 Furthemore, i know many moldovans and have been to Chişinău and Bălţi(Romanian names) and most of them are Romanians(same thing as Moldovans). Wikipedia confirms: 71.5 % Moldovan and Romanian, 20.5% Ukrainian and Russian, 4% Gagauz, 2% Bulgarian, 2% others. Moldova never was, isn't and NEVER will be russia's country, like ukraine or belarus. They are our brothers, they speak our language, they were founded by Dragoş, Romanian voivode, their flag is the Romanian flag a.s.o...

Its equvalent to u say that US is UK, just because, so many British people imigrated in 16-17 century and their origin is British. Moldovan sovereighnty and independence is recognised by UN etc, so please stop calling that land Romania! ( btw i never said Moldova is a Russian country, its just u who said i)

The Romanian and "Moldovan" history and culture is the same. We are the same people in 2 countries. Is not a right to be called Moldova, it was not a choice of the population to be separated.
