  • ok im just wondering do i have to do every p90X video in order? because i just want to build up some muscle im already in good shape so i don't really need to work on my cardio but if i don't do all the video's will that screw up the muscle confusion that P90x is famous for?

  • where can you buy the p90x?

  • sick new balance shoes bro.. I SAID SICK NEW BALANCE SHOES.

  • JUST EAT THE DAMN ORANGE!

  • going to need shoes... wow.. really...

  • Im too fat for a chin up bar......

  • skip to 1:55 for everything you need

  • @rich1284 how about you get the fuck off youtube you spam bot

  • wow im 15 and have 10's,15's,20's, and 25's. No wonder your results werent that great.

  • Pretty good, I can't wait to get to my 90 day period.

Y'all should go sub to my channel. "WatchMeLooseItNow" is the channel name. I'm doing videos on my progress with P90X, I just started so I only have two vids up, but the support is greatly appreciated. Please, please, please, and thank you!!

  • so i have to pay 120 bucks plus an additional 50 more for gear? fuck this i might as well do insanity.....

  • @TheBluefootball1 both are great dont worry lolz p90x gives u that good ass TONE tho lmao and if you do it for a YEAR shit the results are fkin amazing... but insanity aint no joke either

  • Cool vid - thanks for sharing!

  • Hello I'm wondering do you think that I can do p90x i have basically graduated from Turbo fire! I cant do pullups!! Also do you recommend weights or heavy dutty resistance bands which i have! thanks! in advance

  • @quenenarmandorios You should definetly be able to do P90X, even if you can't do pull ups you can use a chair to help or you could use those resistance bands to substitute the pull up bar altogether. As for weights vs. bands it's really personal preference because they both work great. If you have any other questions I can help you out, I'm a coach on Jason's team just answering questions I come across.

  • Is P90x good for people who are just looking to lose weight?(i'm not really trying to focus on getting ripped). Just more for cario.

  • @allycat114

If you want cardio, go play some kinect.

  • @allycat114 P90X will help you lose weight, it's really up to you how far you want to take it.

  • being a pessimist i saw this was a waste of money...unless i can be sure i get all equipment first

  • hey i have a question. Im planning on doing this during the summer to get into great shape, the bad thing is I'm going to be playing basketball during the summers for about 2 hours everyday. Is it a good idea to do this and the basketball? Also thanks for the information =D

  • @ghmyrockband shouldnt be a huge problem, it would effect what you need for caloric intake though and things like that.

  • I have the exact same fan haha.

  • I know you say it's essential if I cannot even do one chin up do I still need to have a chin up bar.

  • yeah you will just have to use a chair to assist you.@bigbradford69

  • what's with the music?

  • WAY too much commentary. try not to talk so much. didn't need the editorial....all i wanted was to know what equipment i needed.

  • do i have to use the nutrition program???

  • use the bowflex 1000

  • New Balance FTW!

  • What a pretty man!

  • any physical activity gets you in shape...

  • does this help you get in shape or should are already be in shape to do this?

  • Hey guys ! Im 14 and just uploaded my transformation. I gained 19 pounds and got a 6 pack. Check it out!

  • ur fuckin scrawny haha

  • Hî_ÁñýôNè_wÂnÑå_chát_wíth_mÈ_Ï_fÈél_sÕ_loñÈlY_toDåý▲

  • bro would u recomend creatine for pre workout drink? and post use chocolate milk?

  • @CeeEmmz i would reccomend whatever you think is best for you, but personally i would say to dump creatine and get a protein shake for pre and post workout.

  • so you can use any weights you want?

  • Im 16 can I do this program?

  • @WondersVideos yes.

  • what supplements do you use?

  • Hey I was just wondering if there is a certain age you have to be to actually do this, I'm 21 but I see a lot of older people doing this most of the time. Thanks in advance.

  • @profcuddlebuns08 bro, i did this last summer and i was 19. You should be fine!

  • i'm 11 and i really wanna know what workouts I should do can you please tell me.

  • @moricestreet9092 well.. dont do any workouts which will stunt your growth(bench pressing etc...) id say stick to chinups pushups and abdominal workouts to be honest....

  • hello i would just like to know i am 14 years old and i would like to do this but do you know if i am old enough

  • wow this really did help. now i know what to get thanks a lot : )

  • how do you feel about the resistance bands? i have 10 and 20 lb. dumbbells and i could borrow others from a friend. i would rather not buy them if i don't need to. i just wanted to get someone else's input

  • @SouthShoreLax hey man im in the same boat. the only thing is that i dont have any dumbbells but i have everything else. I would like to get a set of 25 pounds but from the looks of it he started out with 5s and 10s and i dnt want to get a 25 pound set and then struggle with the workout....

  • Hey man. I subscribed to your page. I am 350 pounds and 23 years old. Will this work for me?

  • @mwoodson1 you might want to do the double session for more cardio. also you would really need to eat healthy and follow the nutrition plan properly. also, i would suggest shakeology. check it out its very healthy

  • @mwoodson1 it most certainly will! I would not suggest doing the doubles, however, as it will probably be a little much at your current fitness level. The thing about p90x is that it's proven to work for any body type, you just have to commit yourself to it and push yourself everyday. That said, the most important part without a doubt is nutrition. You have to make a full on lifestyle change if you really want to lose that unwanted fat.

  • Hello man. I subscribed to your page and watched alot of your videos. I am 350 pounds and 23 years old. I am ready to make a change and not looking for the easy way out, just want to know if you think I will be able to do this at all?

  • Hey Guys! I'm a super fanatic fan of P90X!!! I'm a the 3rd weeks...and the results are UNBELIEAVABLE!!!! That sh** works!!! I bought online at this website that a friend of mine suggest me, and where he bought too.. I saved $50 and they ship fastttttttt!!! Take a look beachbodyp90x.webs.com GO GO GO P90X FOREVER!!!!

  • Hey man im gettin ready to start the program and i have a few questions. Im a college student and the dorms wont let us have those chin up bars cuz they tear up the doors and chip paint, now ive seen that people use resistane bands is that a good idea for a sub for not haveing the bar? and ive been lift for years i saw u have only 10 and 15 lbs would u recommend goin with like 30 and 35s? thanks for ur help.

  • do u need the pull up bar?

  • @utube257 yup

  • @utube257 Yeah definitely. P90X includes a lot of pullup variations. You will do pullups in Chest & Back, Back & Biceps, and Legs & Back.

  • so u can replace the chin up/pull up bar with a resistance band please reply

  • @METALQUBE1 You can absolutely. I don't think the results will be quite as good as they would be with a chinup bar but it's better to do what you can than do nothing at all. If all you have are bands, use those bands!

  • do you drink pre and post work out drink??

  • @fu3l09 I do

  • What would you reccomend for a vegetarian to do this because of the diet plan? What are good replacements for meat?

  • @Aceinthehole7269 Foods high in protein i use are, chick peas, beans, eggs, milk, and nuts, cheese also; you'd be suprised dairy products like milk and cheese arent as fattening as people make out and can go on sandiwches cereaal etc

  • @LiverpoolTuber Thanks a lot man I really appreciate it I just ordered P90x today and can't wait to get it

  • @LiverpoolTuber So true! Awesome tips, thanks for sharing!

  • @Aceinthehole7269 The P90X nutrition guide actually offers substitutions for a vegetarian diet. They thought of everything =). To my knowledge, p90x creator Tony Horton has a vegetarian diet and look at him!

  • @dude04345 yogurt has tones of protein as well!

  • @dude04345 What tips do you recommend for the nutrition aspect of all this, just eat healthier and drink your shakes or is there way more to this? Im bout to start but don't know what to do

  • @Aceinthehole7269 RABBIT FOOD lmao

  • What the hell is up with the background music?! it's just annoying

  • i would rather do excersise outside on the grass then support walmart with 10 dollars

    awareness

  • dude u gotta emphasize the "X"

  • Well..that chin up bar is not available at the moment on Amazon.com or Target...it is out of stock. Besides, because, of how my door is framed I wouldn't be able to use that kind anyways, so I had to purchase on that goes between the opening of the door. I ordered most of my stuff from Walmart and Amazon.com.

  • Nice video...just a lot of loud music in the background.

  • Hey, im 14 going on 15, im not to fat, but im 6 foot 3, amd weigh around 180 pounds, so i dont look chubby, but i want my abs, i have p90x, but my family will have problems with purshasing the right foods, i have musle milk powders, so i was woundering if you could message me, and we could talk this over, i really need help with this, and you look pro. thanks,

  • do you measure your weights in KG or LB??

  • @LRMMcDonnell I use LB's

  • how about if im 6ft tall and weight 135 ( yes im skinny) so this would make me gain weight? or what about it?

  • @KR7OX It's not a straight up body building program but with the weight training you can put on some muscle. The most important part for you is that you eat enough and that you follow the nutrition plan. If you don't eat enough you won't notice the gains you want most likely.

  • what if i cant do a chin up

  • @corvetteracer916 Use a chair assist over time until you can get about 8-10. Then start trying without the chair to max out, even if it's only 1-2 reps, then include the chair when you can't get up to get in some extra reps. Keep doing this and eventually you will find you can do at least 4 chinups without chair assist.

  • hey can you like get the program at a store or does it have to be online?

  • @Tcharles1412 Beachbody is a direct sales (infomercial) or online with their website and/or through a coaches personal store (like me). Currently that is the only way to purchase P90X new. If you need help let me know and I'll walk you through

  • we have the exact same Pull up bar, Yoga mat and Weights haha

  • @elitestrrts haha nice! If I recall all of that stuff came from Walmart for me lol

  • do we really need to buy a heart rate monitor?

  • Man your videos are awesome, and you too, you really encouraged me, I'm 14 years old, and I saw one of your comment where you recommend it for every age and I became very happy!! I'm fit, so I just wanna get ripped :D . I've just ordered the stuffs i need ( push up bar, resistance bands, and a yoga mat) and I've already have dumbells. I'will get these stuffs for Xmas, so i think, 24 of december will be my first day of P90X. I am sure it will be a difficult time, but i hope I wont give it up!

  • Instead of buying fixed weight dumbells, Why not just buy a 40lb ajutable weight dumbell kit. They have them at Wall- Mart for around $20 or $40. Other sporting goods stores have 40lb kits as well, some even come with a carry case. I realize they are probably not the greatest, but if you are on a budget, it is better than nothing.

  • this week is finals week but when im finished i was planning on starting p90x my question is im currently 275 and most chin-up bars i find cant support my weight is there a chin-up bar or a method i could use that would get the same results?

  • @furverus

    It called: "Maximum Muscle Trainer"

I think it could be good for you, cuz it can hold your weight. And i think you can do all of the exercises with it, because in P90X Tony Horton does the pull ups with a simple straight pull up bar. Sorry for my english, if I made any mistakes (I'm hungarian)

  • @rezsjak hey dont worry about the English i just appreciate the help any idea where i could buy this im not much of a shopping person i wouldnt know where to look

  • @furverus i don't know where do you live, but if america, ebay is the easiest one. You can buy it for 30-40 dollars. So I think it's a good deal. But i think a lot of people deliver to all over world. My father said he will make one for me. So I've just had to buy the other stuffs.

  • I have Whey Protein powder, will that help me to bulk up? Or do I need Creatine?

  • @Exlax123 start only with whey protein, you'll see great results. keep increasing resistance until you feel youre not progressing, then start taking creatine. creatine is great, but dont use it until you need it, you dont have to :)

  • what about power stands is that needed i cant order any more stuff

  • what about power stands

  • does p90x really work?

  • @travisdoreowns yes. You need the motivation to stick with it tho

  • Cool vid! Me and my husband will be starting P90X on Dec. 1st. We bought the Chin-up bar but it doesnt fit on our door.. grrr... Can you suggest what bands can we use instead of the chin-up? Thanks! Can't wait to post my pics!

  • Walmart has the same pull up bar for only 19.99 (for those on a budget)

  • ur missing one... a pushup handle XD cuz palm push up are really bad for you. or u can use the pull up bar for push up... NEVER EVER do palm pushup. it's easier, but it's pretty easy to sprain your skeleton structure XD

  • thanks!

  • The background music drowns out what you're saying. :(

  • What if you are not strong enough to do chin ups or pull ups? Will p90 x teach you to do otherwise?

  • @Stupidindeed I had to use bands at first. And for a couple of the more intense pull-ups, I still do. Most bands come with a door adapter. Just make sure you slide the door adapter just above the top hinge of the door. I made the mistake of sliding it in above the door in the top of the frame.. and one day, it slipped through and left a huge welt on my chest. I was lucky it didn't hit my face, head or neck. You won't have that problem near the hinge at all.

  • @Stupidindeed In the P90X video, Tony suggests using a chair to place your foot to provide support while doing the pull-up. Over time, you will be able to do more pull-ups unassisted.

  • I want to do P90x so badly, but I can't do any floor exercises that will put pressure on my tailbone. I settled for Turbo Jam, but I doubt the results will be anything remotely similar since they're totally different programs. I wish there was a way to modify the floor exercises, but a lot of them seem to roll up and putt pressure on the tailbone. Sucks.

  • @KayPerestrello Most of the floor exercises are in the ab ripper which you can skip if you have another ab workout that works better for you. Or maybe a quality padded-exercise mat would help you. I have to use one.

If you think a particular exercise will hurt you, skip it. I have a bad knee, and I still have to skip some of the knee-intensive exercises. I look at the groucho walk and say to myself, "noooo thank you." and move on to the next.

  • @CaptainCocaine Thank you so much! If I can get the same results by substituting another ab workout for the floor ones I will definitely try this out. I really appreciate your response.

  • How much weight did u lose?

  • @tibscat8888 ok thanks man, im getting it this weekend =D And did you do the full 90 days to lose 60 lbs? or even more days

  • @HoboHunter9000 Dude, if you stick with it, you're gonna be ripped in high school. All that natural growth hormones from puberty are basically like natural steroids, without the nasty side effects, if you tap into them and eat properly. Especially if you're naturally heavy. It seems like people that gain fat easily, also seem to gain muscle easily, too, if they put in the work. I don't know what it is, but good luck to you. And remember: Nutrition is the most important thing.

  • @CaptainCocaine thanks for the tips, i got p90x and now on day 9 and im going to keep going =) Its not too bad, except for plyometrics which i have to do today haha =)

  • Can you please help me? Im 12 years old and i weigh 120pounds, just a bit chubby and im not out of shape. I really want to weigh under 100 pounds. I dont know if i should get it, would i get any results? Please reply!

  • your pretty skinny dude

  • hey, have you tried insanity yet? i've been doing that for a week now and the results are pretty good

  • all your videos sound so loud an full of reverb. :P

  • i'm 17 and i'm expecting p90x at my door any day now, and i just have a question. I weight like 170 pounds or something like that, so i was just curious because i'm kinda skinny do i need to go on the exact diet plan from p90x ?, or can i just continue eating vegies and fruit but also still have a small amount of junk food ? i'm just curious because my mixed martial arts teacher said the last thing i need to be on is a diet, any suggestions ?

  • I have the same Iron gym pull up bar...Works well for the push ups too...I had a ceiling fan for the 1st month!! Till I put my damn dumbells thru the blade then took out the lamp about a week later!! You use that plastic chair on the wooden floor for dips?? How do you not but your ass?? Your yoga mat is so thin...you can get a better 1 at Amazon called Harbinger..it makes Ab Ripper X much more comfortable (on your back atleast)

  • hay is the p90x dvd really work

  • WOW! This was the best info I got, saved this as a favorite! Thanks!

  • hey can you answer a question for me im considering to buy a p90x but im not sure if they have subititles or captions to explain everyting because im deaf so im not so sure it would help if i dont get everything out of the program with not hearing or understanding what the instructions on the video tell you what to do thanks

  • hey, awesome vid,

what was that song u had playing in the beginning?

  • I bought the program recently. This may sound like a crazy question, but can the wall over the doorway support the pull-up bar? When I look at it, I am afraid that when I use the bar, the wall will not support the weight.

  • @SurfAlien2 that little wall above your door is a very strong little square box. Since its so small with 2x4's its very strong. Unless you weigh 800+ pounds, and in that case pull ups would be a long way away

  • do u really need the stat workout sheet? because i just bought my p90x used in ebay please reply so i can know

  • And you need a P90X attitude!

  • I weigh 150lbs will this program make me lose weight cause I want to gain weight

  • I love the video its helpful. Just wish that I could afford the system. I am wanting to get back into shape but haven't found anything that works, i've been big all my life just can't seem to lose all of the weight that i want to. can anyone help me?

  • @akac907 Eat healthier, and cardio.

  • i'm new to p90x and i do have a few questions for you... 1) whats the best time of day to do the workouts? first thing in the morning or after work? does it really matter? should it be consistent? 2) i'm a 'skinny' guy, so i'll be using the protein powder stuff... should that be taken before my workout? after? first thing in the morning? again these may be stupid questions but like i said, i'm clueless here. keep in mind i'm about 5'8"/145lbs, so i'm a skinny guy. any recommendations? thanks!

  • Is it better to use dumbells or use the bands? I'd like to use the bands just because they are cheaper.

  • wow...get some sun bro....

and if u look like that after 90 days...you better spend another 90....

  • @dninetyc Dude living on the sun would not help me get tan =) - I've tried and all I do is go from translucent to semi translucent. You know what, it's the least of my concerns and i'm OK with who I am ;)

Also, that video was shot about a month and a half in the program - not 90-days =)

    Thanks for watching and commenting.

  • I'm starting my first round tomorrow I only have 20lbs pair of dumbbells, is that good enough? I'm 5'9, 178lbs.

  • @rezwanborja Not enough. There is such a variety of moves that one set will not possibly do it. I have selectechs these days that go up to 52.5lbs and that's barely enough for things like "lawn mowers". But do what you can with what you have until you can get more. Better than doing nothing at all!

  • @dude04345 what do you recommend for now? I can't really afford selectechs right now, so should I get 2 more lighter dumbbell sets or what?

  • now u need a good hait cut buddy

  • @bringhavoks Heard! =)

Of course, this was over a year ago but I think my hair is about that long again... Seriously, I get a hair cut once a month and get the sides and back buzzed with a .5 attachment - It grows FAST!

  • do u find the chin up bar marks the wall?

  • @jamyjames12 Absolutely! HaHa it leaves black marks but when I move I just use some bleach and scrub it off.

  • those shoes are awful

  • @danasolomon7 haha yes they were! BUT they were what I had at the time so they are what I used. Better than no shoes and better than doing nothing at all - wouldn't you agree? =)

Now I have some Brooks design running athletic shoes, they rock!

  • @dude04345 nice .. just finished week two and i am hooked.

  • hey, im 15 would you reccomend a 15 year old to do this ?

  • @bjlcrew Sure, nothing wrong with working out at 15 - I started into fitness at 14 when I was 190 lbs and incredibly unhappy with my fat self. The only thing I wouldnt recommend is using supplements while your body goes through it's transitions. Work it out but don't add stuff you don't need!

  • @dude04345 I am 13 & a hafe could I do p90x

  • @ThePaintball365 no gtfo

  • @zomgwtfbbqbagel IDK WHT you said

  • @dude04345 Any ideas on what supplements to use and which ones to exclude? Thank you for your help. I'm 29 though not 15, if that changes anything.

  • thanks for the info!

  • @miketamtube You got it! Thanks for watching and commenting. Now go PUSH PLAY! =)

  • thanks for the info!

  • props to working out people, but WHY is everyone so gullable about buying all these stupid infomercial get ripped in X amount of days. Walk and lift weights you don't need some stupid dvd to work out.

  • I don't wanna bands, i found good cheap weights, 20kg max each, i mean is only to with plates, is it ok for p90x? Or i need solid weights?

  • Do I need push up bars for P90X?

  • Hope you reply. Is it ok for a 15 year old to start p90x? I really dont want to lift weights because im afraid of stunting my growth. All I want is to loose weight and have a six pack :D

  • @thefunnyoz Go ahead and start. How tall you get is determined mostly by genetics and somewhat by nutrition during development. As long as you don't take any wierd supplements that might mess with your hormones, weightlifting won't stunt your growth anymore then any physical activity would.

  • get some sun bro :D

  • @justloochin haha believe me, i've tried... There is no hope for my white skin. I'm OK with it ;)

  • @justloochin

hey! white skin is sexy mines white as well P

  • @lolitabrunette haha nice! My white skin barely tans, it is what it is. I used to try but then I realized it's only not really all that important to me.

  • Love the videos but the background music is very distracting......just feedback....great content!!!

  • how much does the P90X DVD(s) cost?

  • which pull up bar is better the iron gym or the beachbody one?

  • @ccook1525 duder, save some serious money and get the iron gym one. seriously, alot of the stuff from beachbody is QUALITY, but the iron gym does the exact same thing..... for alot less.

  • @moparican440 ok man thanks

  • @moparican440 You got it! I saw the "Iron Gym Deluxe" at Dicks Sporting Goods the other day for $40 bucks which is exactly the same as the P90X bar with the extra hand grips. I just use the basic iron gym for $30 bucks. It's been through a lot and keeps on kicking.

  • @ccook1525 Check out Dick's Sporting Good's. They have the Deluxe Irom Gym for $40 and the basic for $30... The Deluxe looks exactly the same as the P90X bar.

  • @dude04345 ok thanks man i got the deluxe

  • @dude04345 Hey man what if your 6 foot 5 with a little bit of scoliosis and can't do chin-ups or pull-ups worth a shit?
