Adele has an amazing voice but she could never move around the stage and electrify the crowd the way Cheryl does. It takes an incredible amount of stamina and athleticism to do what Cheryl does and to keep those vocals clean. If Cheryl wasn't such a tabloid staple people would give her more credit for how hard she works.

@LitaWWF Did you read anything I just wrote? Moving around on a stage like that, memorizing choreography and pulling it off while keeping your vocals in check takes TALENT. Cheryl is one of the few stars besides Beyonce who can actually sing (live) while they perform. Thus, Cheryl has talent. The idea that Cheryl can't sing and has no talent is a manufactured premise fabricated by British tabloids in order to drum up controversy and make Cheryl a more interesting figure and--in turn--make money.

She can't sustain a vibrato. She has no access to the belt register, don't even get me started on her nonexistent head voice. The fact that people think she's some vocal prodigy is truly laughable. She should be fronting an indie band where no one cares about vocals, not getting runner-up in a singing competition.
