best tutorial so far on youtube for why georgia.....thanxxx amte...i would be awesome if you could upload another tutorial for the complete song with the chord strummings and stuf.....
First of all, thanks for all the help. Second, I saw on your channel your from Indiana and are applying to med school. I'm also a hoosier and currently a 2nd year at IU med. Good luck and let me know how things turn out for you.
wow you say this is easier but haha i'm still having a hard time. of course i am normally a drummer. but this song is way too good for me not to learn!
Only tutorial video on youtube that shows an easy way to play the riff after the intro/verses. Finally pretty much have it down, the rest is a breeze compared to that. Thanks so much man! JM is the best
@blok31092 yeah, I'm a pretty experienced guitarist and I had so much trouble stretching and hammering on the position that john plays. glad my easier version helped you out!
Yeah, I was in a guitar class for 1 year in highschool... I didn't help me hardly any but it did get me started. Ive taught myself after that and still do it. Practice does make perfect! Thanx for making this tutorial, Adam! Never tried playing this song. Do love Mayer tho!
Hey Adam. I was just wondering if you've had guitar lessons, because I can't afford it so I'm learning it through youtube. And since you're such an amazing guitarist I was wondering if I could be that good without lessons some day. :P
@sailxonxmusic Have some heart, believe in what you do, have a constant desire and passion to become better and I don't see why you can't continually improve.
Like Adam once said '90% of the learning process is independent' independent learning and experimentation is what makes a truly unique player. But again, you can't knock of that 'crucial' assistance and support you get from guided/instructed lessons. Adam offers it all free of charge :)
@sailxonxmusic The bad news for you is I took guitar lessons from when I was 11 to when I was 22. The good news for you is that 99% of my lessons were strictly classical, which doesn't relate to anything pop rock or jazz etc. I taught myself all of that, and the slapping technique I use from learning tabs and watching youtube videos. So you can definitely do it!
oo i love this song! i cover it, but this is definitely going to improve my version. sweeeeet. thanks adam. and congrats on runner up! still, should have been numero uno if you ask me! baaah whatever taylor guitar contest :p
great stuff Adam. Here is a suggestion for a tutorial, Mario 64 Dire, Dire Docks. Perhaps I will be the only one interested in that one, but still.....
@darthrabie11 i'm trying to do do tutorials which would appeal to a wide audience....but definitely I should have either a tab or tutorial for my mario arrangements sometime this spring
were you high when you made this..? lol
