Randy (on his knee) and Marquis sang to me on a boat on Lake George at the famous Bolton Landing Barbershop Festival. It was shortly after, we were hold lighters and flashlights as this recording was played in our huge tent as we remembered Randy.
Randy was a legend, there was no one like him. He was a wonderful gentleman!! We miss you Randy. I remember the kindness you showed me when I was a young barber shopper, and I will never ever forget you. Truly an inspiration to us Lead singers out there.
As I stated earlier, I am so pleased I was able to make this post and keep the memory of this fine man in the hearts of all those who knew him personally or merely hear him sing.
My Dad Claude Bunt passed away last year. Bless him. This was one of his favourite songs. This brings tears to my eyes each time I listen to it. Thankyou very much for this wonderful music.
@YellowCakeKid Never Pass This Away Again...they are going a Sweet Adeline Arrangenment done by Detroit area 4th Edition They are the fist and only ones I heard do it and this was the early 70's

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Don Gray's chart. The Roaring 20s used to sing this, then Randy asked if Marquis could sing it.

One of the most beautiful songs ever sung by a barbershop quartet... So sad that their career as a quartet was cut short.

Glen Campbell did a great job of this song, although you never hear it.

I am one who has never heard his version although, it would be tough to beat the passion Randy puts in this song.
Thanks for the comment.

@davenourse Believe it or not the lead singer of the Italian group The Gaylords also does a touching version of this song!

Utterly beautiful. I love barbershop harmony. Me and some guys I met randomly the other day are starting up our own quartet. Thanks for adding this!

You are most welcome, I sang Barbershop for 7 years and it was a most enjoyable experience.
Good luck with your quartet.
