  • I am a combat, wounded, and decorated (2 Bronze Stars w/valor, Army Commendation w/valor & a Purple Heart) 101st Airborne Vietnam 66-67. I was divorced, child support (six daughters), Restraining Orders, and estrangement. Real men suck it up, give it to the Lord, and move on. I now have a beautiful, wonderful wife, and four more children (Two boys and two girls). I couldn't be happier. Don't drown in self pity or throw your life away by eating your gun. Man up and move on. Scoat

  • Hua pararescue. 2:42

  • I spoke with a Vietnam Vet, weapons platoon, india company 3/5/1 who served from '67-'68 whose best friend was killed in action 1/30/68, he said twice the number of Vietnam Vets that were killed action, have commited suicide. When a Veteran commits suicide, it feels like the end of the world. Like a day that has been voided.

Our government has shown through its conduct that it doesn't care about what it is they say is our duty to die for.Or those who have died for it.

    Not reckoning,

    Revolution...

  • Thank you for posting this. This is an issue close to my heart. It means a lot that there are people out there paying attention to this and speaking out about it. More need to be made aware.

  • Yes they do and its a shame that the VA is trying to sit on top of this issue, with so many mourning families at stake.(foley)

  • great video

  • Thanks.(TheEyesOfTheSouth)

  • More Falklands War veterans have committed suicide than those Killed in Action. It's simply shocking to know the psychological price that people go through whilst in any sector of public service, be it Police, Healthcare (in the UK, anyway) or the Armed Forces.

  • The thing that disturbs me slightly, is why is the Veteran's Affairs hiding all of this from the American people?(frogswallop)

  • I doubt it is Veteran's affairs doing the damage, I think it's the same neo-patriotic scum who called Robert Kovic a traitor.

  • War is a government/military business. They learned from Vietnam that if you present the truth, especially the raw truth, that those not in power will be more emboldened to stand up and fight them. Politicians have reputations they have to keep up and careers they have to extend.

As a collective body, this nation doesn't care. I don't like making that statement, but this is all absolutely unacceptable. No reason, no exscuse.

    Never violence

    Never destruction

    Never injustice

    ...Never surrender
