Igors car, such a shame as he didnt really have to race that day as he had already won the championship. i was on the way from the UK to buy the car but sadly he binned it just as i arrived, needless to say it was fully rebuilt and another english guy bought the car and its now over here. it certainly is a very well built car with some very good engineering trick bits.

In salita e nei rally la ABS non serve viene disinserita......

@alessandro78dj lo so che viene disinserita ma la motivazione qual'è se la frenata e migliore ecc ecc? sara xk e elaborata electronicamente tramite la centralina?

Abs allunga i spazi di frenata, quando si corre il freno si prende a calci o quasi,e poi i piloti sopratutto nel rally usano la tecnica del sinistro.

Cioè accelerano e frenano assieme e l abs con questa tecnica interferirebbe negativamente..

@alessandro78dj ahh grazie mille x la tua risp..ora mi e piu chiaro.infatti vedevo dei video del rally cn dele audi e usavano qst sistema da te detto con un solo piede accelleravano in scala di marcia e frenavano allo stesso tempo..=)

Hai tempi delle audi usavano molto il sinistro ( credo che hai visto filmati di Rohrl) come tecnica per poter mantenere il turbo in pressione, visto che a quei tempi non esisteva il bang bang, e quindi le vetture turbi avevano molto turbo-lag e una scarsa risposta del turbo quando riacceleravano.
