Es na infeccion viral.... una vez que la contraes tendras estos episodios mas de una vez en tu vida, existen casos en los cuales todos los veranos se tiene un nuevo brote.... NO SE CURA..... POR FAVOR SEAN RESPONSABLES
Cured? Really? That is admirable and porbably one of the most significant medical accomplishments ever. Herpetic diseases are have a morbidity rate on the elderly (shingles). And you know with only 3 people that you've cured them? Wow, you are good. Usually, it takes a larger patient population to ascertain a proper result. BTW, what is your evidence of "cure", meaning eradication of the virus from the host ganglion? Cultures? Western Blot Test? Just a wild guess to fuel your ego?
I have already helped 3 people cure themselves of herpes 1 & 2 using mms, and dmso cream. You must educate yourself outside of the medical world box and leave these medical doctors alone. Why would they cure you when they gave us these viruses anyway.
@OXYGEN5737 The fact of the matter is that there is no cure for these viral borne diseases, and claiming that you have cured these patients only lends them a false sense of security which could lead them to infect others believing that your snake oil has "cured them". Just because a lesion is not present does not mean a carrier is not infective, and unless you dissect the nerve root ganglion from the patient and prove it virus free can you possibly claim a cure.
@OXYGEN5737 You obviously have an axe to grind against the "medical box" - let me enlighten you, there is no "box" except for the walls of ignorance you have built around yourself.
why so many people living with STD, herpes? I recently found that i have this gift. I am so lonly and feel being rejected or discriminated? am at stdromance com site, any one here want to be friends with me?
you no what my son is 20 months old and he had a blood test done for somethingand they found out he has Herpes i dont no where he got it from or how he got it. he never got any kind of cold sores any where on him. so we dont no how long he has had it or how he got it
@micalenemalatesta The Herpes virus is everywhere and not contracted solely by sexual contact. We are frequently exposed to it as young children. In fact, a retrovirus form of herpes, HHV-6, is actually encoded in our DNA and is usually held in check by our immune systems. I would not worry about your son showing a positive test for the herpes virus; he may or may not have to deal with cold sores as he grows older.
@coolkidcash15 Yes, although there is a growing opinion that distinctions between HSV Type 1 and HSV Type 2 are false, and that in fact, the are the same virus. This makes sense; hard to imagine one virus developing two separate types solely to occupy two different areas of the body, and then 'intermingle'. Where the virus cropped up first, the oral cavity or "other" areas is IMHO a long and ultimately meaningless debate.
@DrHaddix hey, hsv1 hsv2 are similar, but it's hard to say they are same. Even Herpes Zoster which comes on people's waist after babies have got Chicken pox is also "HERPES". There are so many types and each of them are unique. the most similar ones are HSV1 and HSV2, but they can't be told the same.
@ahasver1980 You're right. I just read that Chicken Pox is a form of herpes. It sucks getting cold sores but what really works is Nail Polish Remover. That stuff is a miracle.
hey, hsv1 hsv2 are similar, but it's hard to say they are the same. Even Herpes Zoster which comes on people's waist after babies have got Chicken pox is also "HERPES". @ahasver1980 You're right, the argument seems to be strictly academic and of little value in actual treatment. To my knowledge, "different" strains of herpes virus can only be determined by advanced and expensive tests, and, in the end, are meaninless when treating a patient. Chicken pox is usually Varicella-zoster virus, again, a member of the herpes family of viruses. In the end, the causes, symptoms, and treatments are the same, so exact differentication is not necessary.
@DrHaddix i agree with you, and i know what you're saying. They are not that different. But the same treatment for both could explain their actual identities?
i mean, why did the experts differentiate them? Because they are not pefectly same. They are similar, but genetically not the same ones. Like i already said, the most similar ones among those family.
@plumaglob Amazing how this this attracts the lowest common denominator in society. I think we'll just let this stand as a testament to your intelligence.
@Lastloginever : Here's a big surprise for you: you probably have the same virus. Almost all of us are exposed to a flu-like form of this virus around the age of 5 or 6; not all of us show these outbreaks. Ignorance, such as yours, is truly not bliss.
Actually, these are not necessarily STDs. Most of us are exposed to a common oral herpes virus as children, usually ages 5-6, when children start socializing with larger groups in school. Most patients just have a fever for a few days and it is taken for a cold or flu.
Some children will break out in multiple oral cold sores, very painful. The short story is that there can be no differentiation between HSV1(oral) and HSV2 (STD). This can happen to anyone.
The best thing you can do (without medication) is put carmex on it then ice it, but if its bad enough you can ask your doctor to give you Zovirax. it works within a day
Carmex and Abreva are two over the counter medications that can be used; neither has the reliability of topical Zovirax or Denavir ointment. When I treat a patient with the laser, I also precribe Denavir ointment and Valtrex pills to be used at the first sign of the next outbreak; that way the patient is always prepared to stop the lesion even if they are unable to get into see me before the lesion breaks out on the lip.
...lysine works too... its in childrens vitamin... it helps dry it really fast.. drop sum of it in a cotton ball, apply it to the affected area and sleep!! do it again the next day.. by the third day... its gone!!
also.. plain yogurt.. make sure u washed the affected area and make sure its dry... apply all over the area.. make it thick... leave it on for an hour... peel it off... do the process 3x as soon as... or even if its 'already there'.. i researched n the shit works!!
The virus attaches to the nerves and buries itself at the roots. The most they can do is control the replication and shedding process. Valtrex and other meds work this way. If you don't want to get it (& believe me you don't!), make sure you're healthy, and don't engage in physical contact with someone infected if you have any abrasions or scrapes. This is why people get it from kissing when their lips are chapped. L-Lysine in food is an immune booster that can fight against this & other viri.
@blub1803 because virus integrate into your genome, kinda hard to discern from human and viral DNA. Although I am sure some day a technique will be discovered to kill viral and not human DNA. Long ways away though.
You will need to find a dentist with the proper laser (Nd:YAG, preferably brand name PerioLase); I charge $75 with satisfaction guaranteed or fee refunded.
When the virus is dormant, there are no indications of its presence; it is being sequestered in the nerve ganglia by the patient's immune system. The same is true for genital herpes and shingles, which are related viruses. Only when a weakened immune system, such as when the patient suffers a cold, does the virus "escape" the nerve ganglion and symptoms beging to arise.
I'm not aware of any research showing that different HSV strains are more virulent than others; however, patients' immune systems are extremely variable and liely play a greater role in individual responses to herpetic viruses. I don't know where you get the idea that anyone "downplays" this event - they are very painful at the very least. If I didn't think they were significiant, I personally wouldn't have posted this video or made this response.
Furthermore, it is well known that we are usually exposed to this virus as young children; in some patients, the virus invades and shelters inside a nerve ganglion at the base of the skull, essentially hiding it from antiviral meds. The body's immune system holds the virus in check until something challenges or weakens the immune system, such as a cold (hence the common name "cold sore), allowing the virus to proliferate along nerve pathways, causing blisters at the skin. Quite a lot is known.
Wow and they pay for that. First sign or tingle drink 2oz. of buttermilk 2-3 times and it's gone. My friend doesn't like buttermilk but, knows it works. She found over the years that useing it when stressed she dosn't get them any more.
That's the first I"ve heard of the buttermilk treatment. I did a PubMed research but couldn't come up with a reference. Again, if it works for you, great. My question: is it the ingestion of the buttermilk or the contact of the buttermilk with the lesion?
The laser does provide instantaneous relief, so I guess patients without a palate for buttermilk are willing to pay for a sure thing.
all your life... it is a viral dsease, no cure from it.The virus remains in latent stage in the trigeminal nerve ganglion. if anything that lowers immunity such as influenza,stress..etc ,then there is a chance for the virus to appear.
No, not STDs only. The STD virus and the supposed oral form are essentially the same herpes virus. Initial exposure usually occurs to the 'oral' form at a young age, 5-7 years old, and results in flu-like symptoms. The virus invades a nerve cluster, isolating itself from antiviral meds. Your immune system holds the virus in check until it is challenged with an illness or stress - hence the term "cold sore". Then the virus travels down nerve pathways and makes this blister on the skin.
Good question, the virus is essentially the same, and I see no reason why a similar outcome couldn't be achieved. This applies to all other viral lesions in this family of viruses including herpes zoster, better known as "shingles".
I have some preliminary evidence that this can be achieved with a 532 nm green laser of at least 75mw output (generally about $300-500), possibly putting this treatment into the hands of the lay public.
Does this occurs due to std's... only? cuz i remenber i had an outbreak when i was sixteen that was the first time, and people told they're only blister or cold sores, but about tree weeks ago a had a second outbreak. and it looked like your and somebody told me that it was herpes, and that maybe i'm infected with the virus. The first time i got it in my lips i still hadn't had any sexual contact.
For all practical intent, the virus and tissues are the same; this treatment should be as equally effective against genital lesions. However, it should be noted that this treatment is for the symptoms of an outbreak; there is no evidence that it prevents transferrring of the virus btween partners, and genital outbreaks can be a result of oral/genital contact and vice/versa.
