I'm an oregon native of 18 years, rain is my friend. I never put up hood over my head in rain. I wear t shirts and shorts during cloudy 50. Rain is off and on, rainiest month is december, only 50% of the day has precipitation. And it is spread, more light. Coast range, gets more rain.
When I lived in Oregon (Eugene), in 2005-2006, I never saw so much damn rain! (I'm from Southern California, where it rarely rains) I never thought the rain was depressing, just annoying because I had to commute by bike in it all the time. But I'm a rare breed of people that actually loves the rain, cold and clouds. That was one of the reasons i WANTED to move there. But it did make me appreciate summer a little more.
People visit Oregon in the summer and fall in the love with the beauty and the weather. This video is the reality of winter in the western part of Oregon. It is gray and raining in the winter. Sadly, some people sell their home and move here only to discover the winter is very depressing.
In 1996 or so it started raining on Sept. 27 and then stayed gray and rainy till July the 5th the following year. I was ready to move.
And let me guess, you was using an umberlla lol

@waves1of9terror haha, I was on my deck with a covered roof. There is no such thing as too much dry space during the winter rainy season.
