cause u dont pull on it put ur arms on out side of knees put ur heels down and just hold on dont pull it then get up and turn on wichever foot u go

Im just starting wakeboarding, and everytime I try to get up, Which is like 5 so far; The rope gets really tight and shoots out of my hands. How do I keep this from happening?

You know you are supposed to start with a tight rope, right?

best thing to do is to keep your knees really tight to your chest. As soon as there's enough tension on the rope, push up on the board as if you were to stand up. This should eliminate your problem. If not, let me know

you can never be pulled to slow when your being pulled up. just when your standing you need to get around 18+mph so you can actually stay up.

Actually no.. when getting up on a wakeboard there is so much surface area on the board that you can get up evan being 5 miles per hour over idle
