That's my favorite quote from the selection of clips you put in this video. Too funny, it must have sounded better in his head when he said it. The Battle Royals street fiight Battle Royals line was pretty good too. I was only a casual fan of wrestling at best but I do have friends who would be very interested in this game.
I could gripe, but I'm a JW fanboy of the worst kind. Don't care for the genre, but I know I'm buying this and I know as soon as I finish it I'm going to have to start figuring out how to convince my friends to try it. JW, you're embarrassing me. Please keep it up, good sir.
I'm excited! I've always talked about the potential of a wrestling RPG, why? Because ProWrestling has some parallels with what we do around a table top. I can not wait to buy it!
@allluckyseven I'll be making a video about that shortly. Suffice to say, most wrestling RPGs are made by marks: they make mechanics that assume the wresters are actually trying to win the match. This one is made by someone who knows that isn't true.
I was explaining the mechanic to a playtester, I said, "This game is not about moves; it's about spots."
To be quite sincere, I find a game of wrestling unappealing which may be the reason why I don't think this game has much potential or replay value specially when compared to other RPGs, which is something I often do to choose which new game to play. But hey I don't even like wrestling to begin with.

Is this a WWF style or real style wrestling game? I'm guessing its the former because its more interesting to roleplay in? I was captain of my varsity team, I don't think it would be much fun to roleplay ED

Okay, cats fighting supernatural foes... I can see that that as a concept for an RPG. And I like it.
Heroes and Gods fighting (sometimes even alongside each other)... I can see that that as a concept for an RPG. And I like it.
Spies and secret missions... I can see that that as a concept for an RPG. And I like it.
But Wrestling as an RPG concept... now I'm confused. :o/
