I noticed the dedication for Ryan Patrick Halligan at the end. Clicking the link I realized that I heard his story told from his father at an assembly when I was in middle school. It was really heartbreaking to hear him tell his son's story. It was about two years after Ryan's death, and I remember his voice was cracking towards the end, and while I couldn't see, I'm pretty sure he was struggling to keep himself from crying. That always stuck with me.

@iFenceU The anime is called Clannad. It's a Slice Of Life genre, but its still the best romance/drama anime i've ever seen (My opinion.) But be warned, you may cry regularly if u watch and understand the entire series.

To the 18 people who disliked this clip so far, shame on you. If you couldn't hear it, don't dislike it cuz you have not seen its full power. For some of us this clip is a heavy reminder of a love we either deeply wish to have or a deep love we have lost and it gives us a tearful reminder that there is still hope for us out there. For me, it is both. Twice I have experienced such deep loss, but clips like this give me hope again.

@Klokinator I understand what you're saying in the first half of your comment and I agree that the video still looks excellent. I don't think Meli-chan is being hard on herself, I think she is just striving for perfection. She probably worked for a long time in order to get the timing of all of the right so when she watches it, she notices when it's even the slightest bit off. I don't think I would have noticed if she hadn't said so but it is possible to notice some of those spots if you look.

And I review anime on my off days, I'd notice the off timing parts. However, pointing them out with a blaring message just makes people look for errors rather than enjoy the sheer beauty of these videos.
This is truly the first video I've watched that I've felt completely inspired and actually helped by. I delighted in the fact you didn't shower the video with effects to make it showy -- but that you highlighted the raw emotion and stories of these animes to be inspirational, realistic and very touching. Okay, I love this. So much...
I thought to myself I would never find love again after my last relationship, it lasted four years, and then she just dropped me...For some one else...I thought I would never be the same again. Now three years later. (I am currently 21), I have found the love of my life, We have been dating for about two months, but have been talking for two years. I think you (uploader) are very hard on yourself. I saw no choppiness at all, and my internet connection isn't even that good. All of your videos are very very good, and dare I say it, even perfect. This video is a very inspiring video in particular and I hope you keep up the good work. You're destined to become an amazing filmaker or something to that effect.

@Klokinator I understand what you're saying in the first half of your comment and I agree that the video still looks excellent. I don't think Meli-chan is being hard on herself, I think she is just striving for perfection. She probably worked for a long time in order to get the timing of all of the right so when she watches it, she notices when it's even the slightest bit off. I don't think I would have noticed if she hadn't said so but it is possible to notice some of those spots if you look.

@Khalony Isn't Meli-Chan a guy? Maybe I'm wrong...
And I review anime on my off days, I'd notice the off timing parts. However, pointing them out with a blaring message just makes people look for errors rather than enjoy the sheer beauty of these videos.

This is truly the first video I've watched that I've felt completely inspired and actually helped by. I delighted in the fact you didn't shower the video with effects to make it showy -- but that you highlighted the raw emotion and stories of these animes to be inspirational, realistic and very touching. THAT is the sign of a truly talented and inspiring AMV maker. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful video than this. :)

i used to be beaten up my my stepmother or locked in the basement. i never got used to that. then i went to school and was beaten up by my peers. i would often sit in my desk and listen to them play when i was in elementary school. i wanted to be like them. i cry every night now. i cant forget it. but this song shows that people can hear me. i almost completed suicide. i never wanted to leave. i love life so much. but i felt like a burden. im okay now though. and this song helps me.

So: Kyoto Animation did the anime and Key did the games, which the anime was adapted off of.
