  • 7:03. The guy on the left, is the Conan Obrien?

  • i love the POINTER SISTERS :) !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOL, Will Smith had the right idea at 0:50

  • lol Jean Claude Van Damme at 5:45

  • It's a wonder that they didn't get Michelle Pfeiffer to do a solo since she has an amazing voice herself.

'course the public didn't really start to realize that until after this was made (case in point: Prince of Egypt).

  • @Ovrkyl true

  • performers today is totally different from performers in the 90s and 80s. singers in the 80s and 90s are more talented than most singers today. singers and performers today are more like porno stars showing their body and taking their clothes off.

  • @sweet101000 true nothing compares. 80s and 90s real talents have been shown. real great and unique talents. just look at the pointer sisters, celine, peter cetera and a lot more. There are a long list. not like today, pure pain and headache and bad influence to our youth, those so called entertainers of the millenium. sometimes they make me wanna shout at them.

  • You just gotta love the gorgeous slick music of this era; this was just months before grunge came along and changed the music scene. But music like this is timeless...

  • thanks for sharing. I was there and happy and lucky to make it home. This is such a wonderful gift from David Foster and Linda Thompson. What a wonderful group of people and thanks for those who participated on making this video, a lifetime of remembrance. 5th Batallion, 11th Marines Rule.

  • hahaha

  • at 1:28 so funny what he says

  • I would not have recognized CelineDion, she was acyually kinda hot then, what happened,I don't even remember her being around back then,I was in the Gulf & in Germany the two previous years so I was outta the loop a little,I eremember hearing the song, today is the first time I have seen this, don't know why I thought about it.

  • the guy at 6:31 is Louie Louie...he sang Sittin' in the Lap of Luxury and I wanna get back with you

he was also in Madonna's video Borderline

  • Two words! CÉLINE & MERYL!

    <3

  • WHAT !! LOL, @ 6:18 MIKE TYSON !

  • I know that when I saw him, I felt such a rush of love and hope!

  • Who is the guy at 6:31?

  • I love this song and video. And the one thing 1 thing that always stands out is Van Damme..Guys im with you a 1000 %. Priceless.

  • Van Damme is such a douche. I love him.

  • Damnit, I love this whole special, I remember watching it. It still makes me cry.

Everyone looks so young...Will Smith looks like a teenager, for real. I wish fucking Dubbya had been as good as his father in getting in, getting it done and getting OUT. My husband served during the gulf war, though he was stationed in Germany. (I am so grateful for that, you have no idea. Our first son died from a heart defect in '97, and since he wasn't in the Gulf we knew that wasn't a causing factor.

  • Celine has an amazing voice... one of the best, if not the best female voice i have ever heard in my life.

  • Celine belted it outta the park - she was really great before she became a diva....

Funny when David says "Oh, God you sing great" and Celine's like... "Really?"

  • Could these scenes ring just as true today? It seems like we're stuck in a loop -- our brave men and women fighting a senseless war and losing their lives. 1991 or 2009? Different years, clothing and hair styles, but still the same fight.

  • I LOVE this song. Beautifully done.

  • Poor Will.. You can see that he was hurting as much as we were... They all were hurting and you can't fake that....

  • I Love when David Foster joked about getting a good parking place at The Warner Brothers back lot. lol

  • 6:16 Alyssa Milano

  • They need to play thr damn song on the radio again man...

  • Voices that care is probably the best musical tribute to the troops - and it can still be relevant today - it's very moving and Warren Wiebe did such a fine job at the end.

  • Celine's voice is sooooooooooo powerful!!! So unnerving!
