  • An modern imam? With massive gold rings and that thinks that the people he supports are "under him".. c'mon...

  • @SurfALot774 (1) i believe you are incorrectly assuming that the massive gold ring is similar to those by hip hop artistes. Muslim men are allowed to wear rings (some of them are big to suit their manly fingers), but it is never gold for the men. It's not like the Pope's ring either. (2) the term of 'under him' : Every Muslim is obligated to teach, nurture & protect others. God will question us on the Day of Judgement what have you done to help them"? You mess up, you dead, bro!

  • @SurfALot774 It does not mean that we must suffer for others' sins - it means that each Muslim has a duty to reach out to others : to do their best to help others and care for them. Caring for them means that we care for their lives on earth as well as the hereafter. If you teach them and they disregard it, God will know that at least you have tried and HE will give you credit for trying.

I think Imam Johari is modern - he lives his life in a normal, modern way yet incorporates Islam .

  • Mash Allah

  • It is 2,3,4 and if you felt that you wont treat them equally then marry 1. in another verse it says you will never treat them equally(by loving 1 more than the other). And that is natural any 1 will love a wife more than the other. If your heart loves one more than the other you can't control it. But what you have to do is to treat them equally and try to show them all you love them equally. Notice poligamy is allowed for man and not women because of their sexual nature (i.e the women pregnant).

  • north virginia community college ,alexandria campus , heyyyyyy :D

  • Johari is wrong in his claim 1 wife is best. Allaah said in the Qur'an marry 2,3, or 4; before he said marry 1. The Messenger of Allaah (salallaahu alayhi wa salam) said, "the best of you is the one who marries the most wives i.e. more than one!

  • What is the source of that hadith?

  • you got that hadith wrong it goes ' He that is best to his wife is the best among you.'

  • that is not true.

give your evidance and who has wrote the hadith albokhary or altrmizy.

  • @lyricaladaud NOT TRUE, he says you can marry 1,2,3,4 wives, then he says - love them equally and adds but since it is impossible to love them equally, stick to one. get your facts right man!

  • SubhanAllah! May they be more Imams as versatile as him, InsyAllah.
