i dont liuke the lighning plugin. its not very easyt to work with. i cant seem to figure 3d max out, its like idk different i dont understand how it works.
That is bad ass Man I loved this effect how did you do it I want to do a cool video like AMDS Films have you seen their Terminator VS Robocop videos they are bad ass.
nice nice work, there's way too many vids on here that are carbon copies of some tutorial out there and I don't see how they can really be proud of them if they never try to put their own twist on it or take the effect to another level. This is not the case here though, so way to think for yourself and be original!

So get creative and show what you can do by yourself! ^^

I can tell u now that i have there layers of blue lensflares in diffrent shapes and a vector-blur effect applayed. vector blur is a great effect but most people dont use it. it realy makes EVERYTHING interesting.
Thanks, i used 3ds max for the sphere, for the grid and for the sparks. i needed 3ds max so the reflection on the sphere will look real and i could use AE for the sparks but in max it looks much more real.

The lightning looks fake.
You could've added more shake or "feel of power" when the ball came out.
