My sonn whos now 16 months old started having infintile spasm just like this when he was 4 months old, and they were caused by a stroke! and he is just fine now they are under controll with medication
@AmericanSoapBox Seriously? I posted these videos so her neurologist could actually see them. HE is the one who ordered the tests. There's no way i could force her to do those weird movements, which is what would be the case if I had Münchhausen by Proxy. Parents/Caregivers cause their children to have problems so that they have unneeded tests. That is not the case here because like I said, I can't force my child to have spasms.
I wish I had made it all up because it was a very stressful time!

Neva does not have IS. She was 'diagnosed' with some kind of movement disorder. Whenever she has bad sleep and misses her morning nap she does the movements. She only ever did the bowing like this video one time, the time I got it on tape. That day was one of the worst days we ever had with her spasms.
She has had many EEGs and did the movements while hooked up so they are not seizures.
Infantile spasms are very serious.. how dare you American Soapbox.. Judge someone like that..

The only thing WRONG here is with the parent. It's called "MUNCHHAUSEN SYNDROME"
Everything a kid does is now a "SYNDROME"
It's disgusting.

She sometimes does strange movements, but we don't know if thats her being a toddler or if its part of the supposed disorder she had.
