  • travolgente !

  • @VincentFunk Get the railroad to pay for a new camera. If I break a tool at work, during work, the company replaces it. Oh, wait a minute. Although you were at work, you were not doing any work, so, never mind. Now, GET BACK TO WORK!

  • Haha, I had a similar Idea last week. I wanted to film a Tram from below. Same result! Cheers OY.

  • and that's what it looks like when you commit suicide.

  • FAIL just ruined a camers

  • Its the Camera that hit the train :D

  • Wind hit...fail XI

  • hit = wind

  • Molson Canadian T-shirt!

  • now i dont have to try it myself to see what it looks like

  • and u wonder why umimployment rates are so down...

  • WTF is wrong with youtube now!? The whole page is messed up like this: [] [] Camera hit by train (video) 10,625 views WTF is wrong with youtube now!? The whole page is messed up like this: [] [] Camera hit by train (video) 10,625 views (video description two times in a row) (all the tags below eachother) etc..
  • @FanTazTiCxD LOL, restart ur browser

  • @nave4pres2 It's fine now XD

  • :L I was thinking that train was just a white dot

  • At 1:15 ooooooooooohhhhhhhh AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

  • I feel bad for the poor camera :( his life was so short.

  • at 0:56 it was coming

  • did he died?

  • waaakkkkk

  • I did this 3 times so far and its honestly very cool, just put rocks behind it other wise the wind of the train will blow the camera back. I have the videos uploaded if you wish to see.

  • you can see that the camera only fell backward under the train therefore it's still intact!!!!!

  • I just posted a similar video on here but what I did was dug out some of the rocks so the camera sat in the rut and it didnt get hit.

  • poor cam =(

  • Yeek!! Did the camera survived??

  • how the hell do you think he uploaded the video to youtube, if the camera didnt survive then the video wouldnt be here right now, now would it?

  • Well just call me "old fashioned" I'm still living in the age of VHS Video tapes & I presumed that the video camera was one of the "Old School VHS models/ compacted VHS models (Like I still have Oy, do I nedd to update mine! ;D) " not like today's video cameras that used VCDs & ready to download digital video cameras where a person could download thier video easily!

  • oh, my bad.

  • dude the camera can be completey but fucked but if it has an SD card in it you can still upload the video, just kuz its destroyed dosent meen the storage device is.

  • yes but u would need a card reader to do that

  • most computers come with them built in. i have one thats about 5 years old with a card reader. and its only like 25-30 bucks to buy one.

  • the camera would also have to be shock proof becuase it will just turn the camera off and not save the video

  • take a while

  • the breeze under the train blew it over.

  • Cool!

I made a video like this once and the camera survived, if I can find the damn tape I'll post it.

  • damn i was thinking if i was in the place of the camera and it looked like a certain death

  • i woder glowed it but that is really cool shit man

and the over commentars are all baby shit bitchwes

  • You can kind of see what it would be like to be hit by a train.

  • No, it would be a lot more gruesome. The camera went under the train for the most part.

I'd say that wouldn't happen if you got hit by the train.

  • it just fall over

  • i would like to present about a poem

  • @FamousCFC66 Howcould it derail the train, dumbass?

  • haha cbass says that a locomotive 10 feet wide by 15 feet tall moves no air while moving at 55 or 60 miles an hour. he be so smarte, eye wish eye know as much as him do. lol

  • that actually looked like the wind caught it cause the front of the train had already passed when it flipped

  • I wonder how much the camera costed you to replace and how much damage

  • I don't think it was damaged, it just rolled over.

  • molson canadian shirt lol hell ya

  • AAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHH

    (dies)

  • aha nice

  • it looked like i was gonna die..when i watched it on my 98'' projector

  • It made me feel like I was commiting suicide!

  • you idiot, it was just the drag.

  • ...wow it was like i was under the train...:P

  • the front spoiler was pushing wind and it was lifted up

  • i think its somehow fake, how could the camara survive?

  • because middle of tracks! not in the side of tranks where the wheels run!

  • That was really scary.

  • cooooool

  • Vibrations is a nice one, but the vacuum can lift of the camera.

  • There is no vaccum

  • Right. Trains create no movement of air whatsoever...Are you a lost soul?

  • This camera wasn't hit by the train, it was lifted up by the vacuum under the train.

  • Trains do not create that much of a vaccum. The vibrations simpy caused it to bounce around.

  • Trust me, from personal experience, they create plenty.

It's a combination of both if anything.

  • no the train is going sooooooooo fast that it sucks it up

  • i've stood 3 feet from an Amtrak regional train doing 125mph, I know about suction. You can leave an empty plastic bottle on the tracks and it will not move when the train passes over.

And judging by the tracks, this train was doing no more than 50mph.

  • Yeah!

  • Time to hold funeral for the camera.

  • Who says it was broken? It never got hit in the clip... It would make sense if there is a little space between the bottom of the train and the ground, to avoid stuff like... like rocks.....? :P

  • yeah! the camera just started to look up

  • "Paul said this was a good idea"

Time to bill Paul for that camera buddy

  • Step 4. Don't forget to anchor camera in some way, shape, or form.

  • it didnt hit the cam

  • how would your put on youtube if it ran it ova

  • The tape flied out from the crash and landed in their hands of course!

    *to all downvoters:I was sarcastic*

  • the camera can get broken but the tape can stay in tact.

  • it didn't get hit it fell over from the air being pushed by the train. if it did get hit it would stopped recording

  • hit 4 2007 hilarious clip

    very funny

its y third comment 4 this clip

    happy 2008 folks

  • RIP Camera lol ;]

  • Rest In Pieces?

    *gg*

  • what is wrong with you?

  • @bathwater1994 What is your problem? No one said nothing to you.

  • That was a long straight track. You could see the train coming for miles. That's the way tracks should be.

  • waist of camara:(

  • I wonder if anyone did this under a CSX train? Just Curious!

  • lol! kool

  • wow that kinda scared me...

  • It may have been live feed to a computer? That recorded everything it got, up to getting run over?

  • Uh, no. Cameras have their own tape. You can then hook a special USB wire and transfer the video onto your computer.

  • lol... w/e you say.

  • It's true. Mine does, and I can transfer using a Firewire USB cable. (Best wire)

  • wonder how u recovered the footage.?.?.? from a million pieces

  • idiot, its called live feed

  • The camera only got toppled by the shockwave of air.

  • how the hell did you do that???

  • GREAT!!

  • what would fred green say lol

  • rubish

  • i've done this a few times and it is fun to do

i used a cheap disposable one from cvs pharmacy though because i didn't want to take a chance with my expensive camera i wouldn't want it to get ruined or destroyed

  • Spend a little more time burying the camera and it will make it!

  • ouch

  • RIP Camera

  • Your camera wasn't heavy enough, the wind knocked it around. I have an old time B&O video, where the old film camera did this successfully.

  • bad day to be a camera lol

  • that was cool

  • WARNING there is a cheat picture in this video. 1:21:30

  • Thats an awesome video i made one just like it so type in amtrak film and its by me

  • HOw much was the camera? And is it posted on ebay? Let us know so we dont buy it by accident :P

  • Where was satan

  • i think i saw satan

  • lol haha

  • I have better ones than this

  • Comment removed

  • lol that was awesome, next time tape it to the wood. then it doesnt get lifted up.

  • It went under the train it wasnt hit

  • how did you save the tape....

  • Maybe next time you can bolt it down or something so it woluld not tip over from the wind.

  • gr8 inch before doom blast at 0:16

    too much funny

  • It's like watching doom aproach.

  • WHOA thats cool.

  • DOH!! Oh for the want of a little bit strap underneath the ties!!

  • only in America

  • I'm glad they left this to the "professionals". :)

  • Professional what? j/k

  • The force vacuum suction sucked it right up into the train as it passed by. They should have anchored it down.

  • What happend to the camera???

  • it died. rest in peace noble camera...

  • love the thumbs up in the beginning!! LOL!!

  • Must have been the wind underneath the train that flipped the camera over. What do you expect when something goes wooshing past at 50 mph?

  • lol, I was laughing so hard when the train was running over the camera.

  • Authority to pass red flag without stopping, maximum authorized speed, make a little noise for the boys, you say? Don't think I haven't taken a train through a Form B or twenty. Hehe. Keep the iron true, guys. Nice video.

  • if i ever did that id attatch a few weights to the camera, or film a slow moving train

  • Step 6: Buy a large slurpee so Paul cant convince U!

  • Step 5: never listen to Paul again.

  • Thats why I don't do that :p

  • sounds likke them star wars pod racers lol

  • The last thing train roadkill sees! lol

  • Step 4: If camera is destoyed buy a new 10,000 dollar camera

  • Next good idea that Paul gives you...Tell him to just let it go.

  • closed circut t.v. ... you can put a camera anywhere and have the signal picked up by a receiver... It's how news casts are done

  • sounds likke them star wars pod racers lol

  • loooooool genius! lol!

  • yeah it dose lol

  • yeah how did he get out the video to put this on youtube?? Isn't the camera broken??

  • my only question if that camera got hit by a train then how did you get the video to put on this website?

  • The camera was placed in the middle of the track, and the force of the train tipped it over. It survived without a scratch. Naming it "HIT" by train got more hits than "TIPPED OVER BY TRAIN".

  • I would hat to be on that track

  • I take it the camera did not survive. If a camera got hit by the wheels of the train could it cause the train to jump the tracks

  • Ha Ha. No, trains hit cars, semi trucks and trailers, then keep on going. It takes a lot to derail a train.

  • my dad was once on a train and a truck broke down in the middle of the way.. the train hit the truck and it didnt derail... it really takes a lot for that to happen (sorry for my english)

  • i tryed a coin before, its flat like paper :D

  • i did that once the coin stuck to the engine no trace of the coin was left :-D

  • If you check my videos, user name, "grignosse", please comment on them. Tnanks.

  • hectic!

  • booring until 1min 8sec

  • thanks

  • Don't ya just hate it when us train drivers forget to do up the air hoses to the chains on the front of the locomotive?

  • Paul is (assumably) the co worker in the first shot. Notice the Molson Canadian symbol on his shirt sleeve!

This is NOT a good Idea!!!

  • Nice!! You work for Cn? I want to get a job with them, I want to be an enginneer... How do i go about this?

    Thank you,

  • Well, I didnt really want to ruin my camera.

If anything, this video shows the force of a train travelling 50Mph.

  • Just a thought...I don't think the actual train hit the camera...It looks more like the wind motion took it...I think I've seen a vid like this once or twice...

PS - Next time Paul says something is a good idea...re-think it...lol..joking

  • Damn, Nice!

  • wah! i wanna try! lol..cool =)

  • ! ! ! ! ! wow! ! !

  • Considering it was just a camera, this should prove a good example as to why lying down between the rails WILL result in your death.

  • Yep, Camera was fine. I filmed the whole train go by, but it was too loud, and file was too long too. Plus, no one wants to see 2 min of loud violent train going by... :P

  • i would

  • I would too...Nice vid. It's only cool cuz you work for the train company and not just a stupid kid trying to get themselves killed by making a between the rail movie-plz don't give them ideas!!! keep it safe :)

  • did the camera survive? you should have put more of the vid on if it did

  • Awesome!!
