This video makes the point that moisture and alcohol react in the gasoline as a corrosive mixture. But the alcohol found in ethanol gas or from "Heet" additive is soluble in gasoline. That's why the additive is used to remove water found in the fuel system. I use an occasional amount of ethanol gas to remove moisture from the fuel system.
