I just graduated FROM THIS SHITASTIC - CRAPTASTIC FLY BY NIGHT "university".,, Thank you for taking almost all of my GI BILL and providing me with A CRAP EDUCATION... No established University will take the "Credits" I "earned" in this place
@MeliJxNightly People often debate between campus and online universities. The true importance is college accreditation. I have a friend that graduated from the Axia program (University of Phoenix Online) with a degree in Psychology and later transferred to a State University Campus for her Bachelors. Her credits where recognized and transferred towards her Bachelors degree. The University of Phoenix has been regionally accredited since 1978 by The Higher Learning Commission.
@MarathonVeteran if you had a clue, you would know that almost all departments require 60 credits. New Jersey State police actually requires a bachelors degree.
@MarathonVeteran You're a retard. At Coastline Community College, the Dean Mr. Vinicio Lopez has a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Phoenix. What do you say about that? If you want to trash U of P, why don't you tell all of us what college you went to and what job you have? At least provide us the proof that you're smarter than U of P students. That will give you more credibility.
@Illmatic662 Because me and my 2 sisters been through college and all 3 of us graduated. Not only that my mother also did our financial aid. My sisters graduated from college a few years before I started college. So I'm guessing when you are dealing with a legit college for as long as my mother has, you can spot when someone is trying to bullshit you.
@ThumbsUpBrah You think public schools are that different? Well, aren't you just naive. The students at UC system are protesting against CORRUPT UC Regents. Why don't you google that! These UC administrators have the nerves to say to the media that they deserve to be paid as much as CEOs of private firms, and they think raising the tuitions to cover that cost is justified. What do you say about that? How does that make these crooks better than those that run for-profit colleges
this school is obviously a scam and anyone who is dumb enough to go here deserves to be tricked. this stupid lady i work with is taking classes here and she is the dumbest person i ever met. she actually said she was gonna make half a million a year once she graduates. i asked her what her major was and she said "management" hahahaha
i luve university of phoenix. it a good skool. i kant reed too good but they help me wit lurning. they say i will make half a million a yeer once i graduates. thats $250,000. i not good at lurn in school kuz everyone say i dumm but i show them. i earn ma degree without leaving ma bed. and guess wat im wearing? ma pajamas hahahahahhahaha
@waterman1976 no way really? why? I am getting my BA there in business management? well I am suppose to start in january, already have an AA there is business, but it seems like I am getting screwed over wiht my MGI bill, I just don't understand how it is so damn expensive, more so than other schools. Especially if not taken seriously by people like you who are doing the hiring, please shed some light on me. thank you
@trishdadish82 I know we do not know each other, but take peoples advice and save your money and do not attend any diploma mill. Go to a 4 year. It's cheaper and has real professors, not some Masters student getting paid 500 dollars per class.
@muffemod Good question. No all private colleges are not considered For-Profit. A few major differences are that many private colleges are selective on who they admit in because of the limited space. For-Profits like Strayer, Phoenix, and Devry will admit anyone. Most private colleges don't spend more on advertising than they do on the actual educational product like For-Profits do. The last big difference is that private colleges are reputable for the most part. Credits will transfer.
No pride to be found in a school that works to make money - their instructors are told to do everything in their power to let you pass even if you are no where near making the cut. Hence why the school has 0 credibility and is a complete and utter scam. If anyone is even considering going to UOP, please do a quick google, you will find they have been sued & many websites speaking of its scam. Lets see the students in another video 2 years later when they still aren't employed not after theygrad.
I'd rather go to a for-profit school than a non-profit school at this point. Best to have people actually half-way give a damn about teaching me rather than fling shit around and confusing the learning process. But at the end of the day, who would hire someone that went to a non-profit school? seriously, it almost seems like you may as well say you just got your degree from searching google for 2 years instead of actually having a curriculum.
Can someone PLEASE tell me..in your opinion (or from experience), what is the BEST university for Business Administration/Management other than the University of Phoenix?? I plan on getting my bachelors, but after reading so many bad reviews on the UOP, I'm starting to get kinda worried..PLEASE reply quickly..thanks!! ;-)
P.S. I've also been thinking about going to the University of Arizona..how is it like there? Is it a good school??
@FashionistaLuvsNY I just graduated today from University of Phoenix, and I am damn proud of that! It was a great school, people dislike Phoenix just because it's a for profit organization. At the end of the day all these companies even non-profit schools are looking to make money, that's how they stay relevant.
@Illmatic662 what did u graduate in? I just finished my AA in business and nw going for my BA in business management, hope I am making a good decison, not sure
@trishdadish82 I graduated with my AA as well. I got it in Website Development being my concentration. Go for your BA, Don't worry about the haters, they are just mad because Phoenix is a for profit organization, big deal. Public universities are also run by crooks as well, that's just the era we live in. Notice everyday some major scandal is happening at these non-profit organization schools? It's really hilarious to me, that these same people come here to blast Phoenix.
@Illmatic662 Nobody is a hater, why would they be? a Community college degree holds more weight.. We're just mad that this scam is going on still and the fact that people like you are making this diploma mill billions of dollars in tax payer money.
@ThumbsUpBrah I just stated they are hating, because this school is a for profit organization and not a non-profit organization like other public schools.

@jujumaywoo Not all colleges are for profit, as a matter of fact most are non-profit. Are you sure you graduated from a 4 year college? I did not realize clown college were so rigorous, live and learn I guess.
I love their commercial currently being shown on TV. This woman talks about her Phoenix education and says "A lot of my instructors are also...." Well, apparently they don't teach grammar.
@ttiiyy "A lot of my instructors are also...." Grammatically speaking, you should use the word "many" in academic settings because you can count a random group of "instructors." So I would personally go to a school where they teach you to say "Many of my instructors....etc." In fact, there are English professors that will drop a letter grade for any essay with "a lot" in it. You'd hear junior high school children say "a lot." You'd also hear University of Phoenix students say "a lot."
@jerkasmo Well, is this an academic setting? My sister goes to UC Berkeley. She does say a lot. The person that you were replying to is not writing an essay.
I don't consider U of P as a good college, but you need to grow up LMAO
"do your work"? "learning team". Real schools aren't about "do your work", they are about critical thinking and problem solving.
