why is every top comment on GW2 videos something about how crappy WoW is? hey, here's an idea. instead of using GW2 as an excuse to bitch about something, why don't you say something like "GW2 looks amazing". why are so many people obsessed with "bringing down Wow". stop being a butthurt dweller about a game you don't like. have a positive attitude about GW2 instead of a negative one about WoW. you'll feel better.
This is what happens when a company makes a game because they want to make a good game that everyone will love. WoW is what happens when a company wants to make a game just to make money. No game should have a monthly fee. If you are paying $15 a month for a game, they better be giving you more than 1 game. $15 is the price for most DLC for games, but even if you played WoW since it first came out you still had to pay full price for every expansion. Blizzard doesn't care about its costumers.
I think that WoW started out as a labour of love but grew out of it. A lot of people aren't aware that months ago blizzard officially announced that all of the leading people who worked on WoW in vanilla and TBC have been moved on to working on their next mmorpg and that the people who have been running WoW since are trained up apprentices not the original vissionaries.

Expansions don't take 3-4 years to make.. i can play gw anytime i want, maybe i could take a long break and later on continue, that doesnt matter since i dont have to pay anything, also i have an interesting mission campaign that keeps a solo player like myself interested, and if i want i can invite some friends so we can play together, thats what i loved on the first guild wars, i hope they wont change too much of that, guild wars got something for everyone, competitive players, coop players, solo players

Cool 3d environments about halfway in the video. I'm wondering if it will be another problem of cool looking environments you dont interact with, can't move through or around, cause you're on an invisible limited pathway. I guess we'll see.
go to the guild wars official wiki page and it tells you that GW2 has interactive environments, which means you can swim underwater and jump over obstacles, and you dont move with mouse click anymore. From the looks of it its gonna be like WoW
If you go to the website, i believe *i've watched some trailer with a review maybe on youtube* it tells you that guild wars is not about grinding, its not a dull routine not saying wow is, played it for like 4 years, but the fact that you can change what happens in gw2 should be unbelievable :). I can't wait for gw2 to come out.

TY WoW for setting the stage for future mmo's. now please take a seat while the new mmo's take you into the future of gaming :)

GW2 looks like a decent possibly great mmo. Personally I'm setting my sights on Star Wars ToR to grab my money as I really love the structure of the story and as with most of Bioware's rpg, the way your decisions affect outcomes. Fully voiced doesn't hurt as well.
@DaVeO52 actually SW:TOR was my 2nd choice. im not huge on SW though i just love the action. i never took the time to be into the story. and i referred to WoW because its old and has been the most POPULAR mmorpg for a long time.(note: just cause a game is popular doesn't make it better than other games).

@tdogg4575 lol Guild Wars 2 will be great from every detail I know about the game and from what they've already shown in demos. Although I wouldn't call it a "WoW killer" as that game will always be around, I'm pretty sure Gw2 will be at the very least just as good if not better. But at this point I know it'll be better for my tastes in general.

actually you cant compare guild wars to wow... they might be both mmo's but still, guild wars went on a very different way, than wow did. guild wars is more about teamplay, a well structured story, which leads you from place to place and the world is open once you have done the story. wow is way different, its more about grinding for everything... equip, lvl etc etc but still a cool game tho. i think the two games have nothing in common and for that they arent comparable

Cool 3d environments about halfway in the video. I'm wondering if it will be another problem of cool looking environments you dont interact with, can't move through or around, cause you're on an invisible limited pathway. I guess we'll see.

go to the guild wars official wiki page and it tells you that GW2 has interactive environments, which means you can swim underwater and jump over obstacles, and you dont move with mouse click anymore. From the looks of it its gonna be like WoW

If you go to the website, i believe *i've watched some trailer with a review maybe on youtube* it tells you that guild wars is not about grinding, its not a dull routine not saying wow is, played it for like 4 years, but the fact that you can change what happens in gw2 should be unbelievable :). I can't wait for gw2 to come out.

@swiftspeed167 before i say anything yes WOW is the grandfather of todays mmorpg no doubt about that. it set the general format for 3D mmorpg's but lets face it its old news. its still in the top 10 mmo's but newer better mmo's are coming out: blade and soul, guild wars 2, star wars old republic, final fantasy, (aion had potential but i lost track of it). TY WoW for setting the stage for future mmo's. now please take a seat while the new mmo's take you into the future of gaming :)

@tdogg4575 Wouldn't Everquest be the grandfather and WoW the father? EQ gave us the basis but WoW fine tuned it. Ah well, enough about lineage (the word not the game). GW2 looks like a decent possibly great mmo. Personally I'm setting my sights on Star Wars ToR to grab my money as I really love the structure of the story and as with most of Bioware's rpg, the way your decisions affect outcomes. Fully voiced doesn't hurt as well.

@DaVeO52 actually SW:TOR was my 2nd choice. im not huge on SW though i just love the action. i never took the time to be into the story. and i referred to WoW because its old and has been the most POPULAR mmorpg for a long time.(note: just cause a game is popular doesn't make it better than other games).

@tdogg4575 lol Guild Wars 2 will be great from every detail I know about the game and from what they've already shown in demos. Although I wouldn't call it a "WoW killer" as that game will always be around, I'm pretty sure Gw2 will be at the very least just as good if not better. But at this point I know it'll be better for my tastes in general.

actually you cant compare guild wars to wow... they might be both mmo's but still, guild wars went on a very different way, than wow did. guild wars is more about teamplay, a well structured story, which leads you from place to place and the world is open once you have done the story. wow is way different, its more about grinding for everything... equip, lvl etc etc but still a cool game tho. i think the two games have nothing in common and for that they arent comparable
