  • my very first car was a pinto with a v6 and my dad put a v8 in it almost 20 yrs ago and had to sell it because of emission laws and hated to let it go but now we no longer have to worry about emissions(for now) and i just now found and purchased one with a built v6! my dad taught me how to work on cars with my first pinto and thats where my love for automobiles began. i have the upmost respect for what you have done with yours and is a very beautiful car! well done sir!!

  • @nevrenufhp

The pictures you see are old, when it had the 302 heads. It now has the 351 aluminum cleveland heads made by Edelbrock. So technically you are correct, it is not an original Boss block with the four bolt main, but it meets all specs and performance ratings now without spending an arm and a leg just to have someone then say "Hey, they never made a Boss Pinto"

  • I saw a 302, not a Boss302. BIG difference. Nothing against a V8 Pinto though!

  • @nevrenufhp You can see it at American racing Headers gallery page 6, youtube will not allow the link to be posted.

That's much better! I could see it better on the A.R.H. site. Sorry, I just hear SOOO many guys claim to have a Boss302, when it's just a Windsor. I stand corrected, and a hats off to a Boss Pinto!

  • clean as hell!! like the motorhead too!!

  • Esse Pinto tava branquinho, jogado de lado, dai concertaram o Pinto, pintaram o Pinto, botaram um azulzinho no Pinto e agoram mostram o Pinto pra todo o mundo no Youtube!!! Long Live the Pinto!!!

  • All rusty old forgotten Pintos deserve to be resurrected into BADASS V8 PINTO's!!!

  • @HOTROD74GremlinX Amen Brother!

  • great looking car!!!

  • @beammark , Thanks, it is good to hear nice things when you put alot of time into something. I appreciate it.

  • Hey thanks for the info, looking for a chin spoiler to fit under my 82 mustang,

  • Nice..

  • Great looking pinto, a true sleeper. I'm wondering where did you get that front spoiler from?

  • @HackoDis I bought the valance and spoiler through one of the Mustang sites, I think it was Mustang unlimited. They are for a 1970 Boss 302 Mustang. i had to cut and shape both the valance and the spoiler. I used a 1971 pinto valance I got at a swap meet to use as a template to cut the mustang valance. I scored the fiberglass spoiler (in the video) heated and bent it to increase the angle and meet the Pinto fenders which are 6" shorter in width. i then re-glassed the back for strength.

  • That Was Excellent! Great Work Norm!
