Then Orochimaru (think Aizen) gave him a curse mark that would make him "stronger" but basically steal his soul, but he was controllin it.Then Sasuke's brother came back and tried to kidnap Naruto and trashed him. He decided to seek out Orochimaru and power and abandon Naruto and the village.
