Try holding a pen about a third of the way down and wobble it up and down and you get the same effect!

It's all the do with "saccades"

@SadisticFruitcake he did have one line in the whole movie, however, it wasn't Ray's voice, it was in fact Peter Serafinowicz. So Maul was so epic, he was played by 2 people at the same time :P, as was Vader, but he's not nearly as cool because he's human and not a Zabrak.

@SadisticFruitcake Evidently , Ray Park and David Prowse who played Maul and Vader respectively are BOTH Scottish ! Ian McDiarmid ( Palpatine/Sidious/Emperor )and Ewan McGregor( Obi-Wan Kenobi in The Prequels ) are as well though for The Films Ewan adopted An English Accent modeled after that of Sir Alec Guinness who originated The Role ! Peter Serafinowicz who dubbed Maul`s Voice is English and James Earl Jones who dubbed Vader is African-American from Chicago !

Not to start a conflict mate, but Shaolin Wushu does not have belts. Also, the art of staff rotation comes from the South Indian art of Silambam. Actually if you practice Silambam for as little as a month, you can do this.

Just do a search for Silambam staff rotation techniques on Google Video. Mind you, generating power and accuracy with the rotation is a totally different thing and can take years of practice.

kung fu just means skill and is often a wrong term.

Wushu is Martial Art.

You're correct; it is basic in the fact that once you have the wrist technique down, you can do it nonstop. However, to do it at the unintterupted spped that Mr. Park did requires a great deal of concentration and mastery, or else you will hit yourself constantly. I have tried it, and I've seen several others try it, and therefore I can make my statement with confidence.
