because the guitar hero people that put the songs actually sang and played the songs. only the songs that say "as performed by ..." were taken from a cd or something and were put on. if u have seen on guitar 2 on the video 'making of songs' it shows people from the gh2 staff singing that work in part of the game and play the songs

I have three words for guitar hero developers:

1. Van

2. Halen

3. PANAMA

they need to choose some better songs. it seems from the first 2 games that they're attempting to display all styles/time periods of rock so the game will popular across most of the spectrum. the thrid is called "ledgends of rock" so i expect it to contain a better selection, but i guess we'll see when the full song list is released.

Yes Panama would be awesome in gutarhero, but GH3 Legends of Rock is not being developed by harmonix ( GH1, GH2, and GH Encore), it is being developed by Neversoft. Harmonix is working on "Rock Band", which at E3 looked awesome, and GH3 looked okay

yeah i caught the e3 stuff. i'm happy that harmonix got fender into the mix as far as controllers go. however, i'm wondering if i'd be able to find others who would want to put an entire "band" together. it seems like gh is getting closer to becoming a game people play at parties, like a much more awesome pictionary, which is pretty sad. i mean, if you're going through the trouble of finding other "band members", why not start a real band? it would probably be more fun

a few things...Izzy sparks looks kool with head band (lol) & some of the songs are gay but most are AWSOME! nvm ALL are awsome lol!
